I would agree on replacing Carousel or even Pity Party... but honestly 2014 me just adored everything Melanie was doing and for that I couldn't give them up. I will neeeveeer forget being on Tumblr in February 2014 seeing a post saying "That girl from The Voice released her first song, you should check it out!" and pressing play and immediately falling in love with her. Now 7 years later, I've had my ups and downs with her sound (K-12) but I genuinely think she is amazing and unique in every way... and she's coming to serve, I can feel it.

this is obvi just super quickly done but if she were zoomed out a bit (not shown here) and centered then i’d love it a lot more. I think the Purge the Poison cover would’ve worked better i am not saying its deep and if you guys like it then i am happy for you i just personally don’t like it nor can i ignore it being off-center

I usually don’t care about text placement but this one is just so obviously off alongside Marina herself and it doesn’t even seem to be done for artistic purpose, just to not cut off her hand which just makes it so jarring to me. Hell, I even loved the Madame X cover which is in itself very jarring but this one is just…. I can’t stand it.

I am so.... The cover could've been SO good but her AND the text being off-center just ruined it all for me. The font is cute but I can not stand it being off center whatsoever. Not a fan at all.

So yeule actually said that the entire era was pushed back due to complications with getting the vinyls and cds ready!!! I think the singles are being reserved more towards summer now since she confirmed in an interview with Chester Lockhart that the album is coming in October now! (I'm not mad about that! 2 years after Serotonin giving it the time it deserves to be a slow burning record)
