Yes this was one of her best concerts, but she can’t perform consistently well. As she’s mostly nervous. I don’t think it’s always mic problems although those don’t help.

Florence is one of the few artists you can say actually competes with Lana and is her peer. She has the unique personality, voice and sound the same as Lana. But she can also sing so well live! Definitely a once in a generation artist! Incredible songwriting too

The backup dancers make her feel more comfortable as they are close friends of Lana’s. I just watched Florences performance and she sings absolutely perfect almost, I know she has a different voice but she knocks Lana out of the water in terms of a performer. I think we just have to face the fact Lana just isn’t great at large concerts. I’ve been saying for awhile, but she suits small venues where everyone is sat down and shuts the fuck up, so you can actually hear her delicate voice and she can take her time. But she has too many fans desperate to see her.

It is her first show in 3 years so I was happy to see her. So I never expected the performance be pitch perfect. It’s a very challenging setting to perform at, lots can go wrong.

Yes she isn’t a great performer due to anxiety, but also her singing is quiet and delicate, it does not project well at a huge concert with a large and crazy crowd. It doesn’t suit her at all. The type of performance Lana would do better at is a small lounge and quiet table sitting audience. She tries to satisfy her fans at these larger venues so as many as possible can see her.

She was a bit shaky the first few songs and the crowd were so loud you could barely hear her. But by the time she sung Born To Die she found her rhythm
