Henry is stuck in my head

Because her music is the product of 50-100 people coming up with ideas. I know movies and other media involve lots of people to make it work, but with music I want something that comes mostly from the heart and soul of an artist not the 100 people they’ve paid. Lana for me is much more authentic, not as much a product I know it’s her art, mind, body and soul, and with music I want to feel that.

Don’t really care for what Beyoncé is doing, she could have an album called ‘fuck Lana Del Rey’ and I wouldn’t care a less. She’s a phenomenal singer and performer but her albums are over produced and very patchy, as is the writing.. she’s just too commercial for me. The album cover is alright but any of Lana’s albums trump it easily even Lust For Life 💀 Lasso will be something else and much more special and authentic than anything Beyoncé could ever put out let’s be real.

It’s amazing how busy she is for someone who barely does anything except a few shows, brief appearances in movies and a few fashion related ventures. Never mind taking crack, she’s probably got a whole meth lab somewhere with how ‘busy’ she is. …Jokes.

I mean we got a good few leaked songs I guess, the most disappointing thing is Sky could have had 5 or more albums by now of great music. She robbed herself of her own career. But yeah I can’t see her ever officially releasing this album.

Not Taylor keeping Lana close to steal idea for future music 💀

Nikki has a good voice and a few good songs I won’t lie, but not sure she musically goes well with Lana? It would not be a good choice to collab again. But I do think it is inevitable

I’d rather she did a really dark and heavy album, similar to Ultraviolence and more A&W experimental songs, it feels like the wrong time to change things up tbh. I’m intrigued to see what she does with ‘Lasso’ but l don’t feel as excited as I’d like. She said it’s ’all going country’ well that doesn’t mean it’s going to work for her especially as she’s known as an alternative artist. I can only say as she’s blessed us with 9 amazing album's that I can’t complain if this one doesn’t really do anything for me. I am very fussy with country, it has to be a bit rocky like Lissie or more cinematic like Orville Peck, if she can pull that off it will be a great album.

The album is really good, Portrait of a dead girl is a 10/10, and On Your Side. Overall a 9 a solid debut album.

If she’s still relevant in 10 years, I keep reading about how she’s just famous because of her rich daddy who bought her a record deal and lip botox. She might flop harder than Lady Gaga last year with Born This Way.
