Do you truly believe she deleted it and was never gonna give a statement In a since deleted tweet and in DMs with ppl she said she was literally feeling suicidal after news started to spread of what happened and she wanted to calm down before she gave a proper, level-headed statement. Also the vocals sound very... dry? Idk how to describe it. It definitely isn't the final version that was going to be put on the album. I'm guessing a final demo cut of the song with all parts included

This album sounded four years too late when it was released but I bopped to HH every now and then. It remains the only song on this I can listen to without thinking about how terrible the rest of this bland, flavorless project is. The problem isn't even her voice or melodies.. it's honestly mostly the production and dime a dozen lyrics

Charli is cohesive but it lacks that ability to create a real world with the music like XCX World, N1A, VV, and Pop2 do so effortlessly

The mixing and processing is AWFUL on 4AM and Before The Fever... I don't doubt that these aren't more finished versions but there is NO WAY these are final I like the new Delete Forever, it has those little quirky effect embellishments that Art Angels had literally everywhere. It's subtle but makes the mood a bit more playful

the title track might be my favorite (along with Concrete Angel, Never Again, and Love Goes On)
