from what I've gathered they were once posted onto Soundcloud but were privated and somehow they managed to get the tracks through hacking.. im not 100% sure tho

just an update: childish behavior was the real name for perverts before it released but it looks like all the tracks that have leaked recently are fake

teddy, btd, and sex change were all leaked by a group of 3 people who got the files after the soundcloud links were taken down. basically a LOT of people had them and they were spreading v quick and somehow the files made their way to them. the files were originally obtained via someone who hacked into haydens soundcloud and downloaded all the private shit on there (this is also how the for sure file was obtained) and the private soundcloud links were spread to a couple people and those people gave it to others and so on. so no, the people who leaked the files were not the people who hacked her, but the files were obtained by hacking. (also the people who hacked her google drive are different from both of those groups, so the whole posy was about like 3 groups of people)

I don't know how it happened in this particular case, but after helping people get old Lil Peep SoundCloud songs, it's not that hard to get old SoundCloud songs without needing passwords.

I feel sad about the bank stuff and the weird video stuff but if you put music out there on purpose then have second thoughts and take it back, it's nobody's fault but your own.

this clarifies a lot but at some point it was said here that she herself shared the links to those songs lol. well i hope she gets a better protection for her accounts now, otherwise people will always find a way to get into something

yes-- sex change, born to die, and teddy were all available at some point. on the other hand hayden did upload a bunch of demos of songs for her team under private links only so those were never available publicly. currently for sure is the only one of those that's leaked but there were a bunch more so hopefully those never leak. (luckily those arent passed at all)

only one song leaked that hayden shared on discord; it was brood x (leaked by someone in the groupchat she shared in who got mad after being kicked for being weird) 

side note, skinheads leaked because an old fan hayden sent it to ages ago shared it with the group of three people i mentioned before and they leaked it (hayden did share it in the discord chat but it was a different file that leaked)

I don’t fully agree with this. Like yes the parasocial part but it’s normal to not hope for private things to leak. It’s actually possible to have sympathy for someone that you don't know. But on the other hand, if something leaks and it’s out there then nobody is stopping you from listening to it.

she was obviously comfortable sharing those songs with a small group of fans, however long ago. god knows why. but she had since made it clear that she did not want any of them to leak and i personally believe her change in perspective should be respected. it is her work and ultimately she is allowed to feel frustrated and to comment on it

 

unfortunately, it’s no longer just about a few songs that she shared herself. EVERY SINGLE privated song going all the way back to when she was 18 was downloaded 

not to mention the rest of the weird deranged behavior of whoever hacked her

I have sympathy for the videos and bank thing. I don't have it around music she chose to put out there and then decided to take it back. That was on her. And nobody told her to make a Discord full of impressionable young fans, put music she'd eventually not want people to hear out in it, then give the Pikachu face when people get it and hear it.
