Reading your posts always brings a ray or light into my mind (maybe it’s your username, maybe it’s the thought of you being Lana herself (I know, you’ve said yourself you’re not and could never live up to her and you’re just guessing like the rest of us))

 

I do wish though they would address this. I am more than happy to let it simmer I completely understand the album will come out when it comes out, but give us something. Don’t say soon, don’t sweep it under the rug, don’t play is for fools.

Aw thank you! That’s really sweet <3 I can honestly say that the way you put your lawful neutrality (hehe) is actually quite diplomatic and refreshing here too, especially when there can be a lot of frustration on this site. I see you!  

 

I totally get the feelings that come with the lack of transparency, though. What I would say to that is to just remember the things we can control and to look towards the information we know is available to us, which helps keep us sane and grateful as ever!

I think another reason why everyone is kinda irritated today is because we don’t know what to look forward to next. this video kind of led us to a dead end in terms of album related news and now we’re just kinda ..... waiting for something to happen

there's literally no reason to have any more meltdowns guys  you've all made it this far and had your meltdowns on September 5th with everyone else (myself included). but we've accepted the album isn't coming until it comes, now. no new pieces of information about it ≠ a reason to have another meltdown. i love u guys, but u gotta be reasonable. it is annoying that ldr hasn't said anything, but as of right now i can't see that changing until she has the album 100% ready to go and ready to release. its gonna be okay!

I was loving this era but after I saw Ben's post I'm disappointed ...like he could have said  that the the album is stil coming this year but they don't know when or if they have a date they could say the month at least...

He also could have said if a  single  is coming this month or not and if the video still comes in September or in October...likr after Sep 26 could be November or 2021  or 2029

 

It's not that bad to wait until October  but the lack of communication is annoying

While that is true, sometimes just a bit of clarity and transparancy would be nice for the sake of it. 
 

ETA: I can garantee that if the roll out would be planned out and we'd have dates, some teasers here and there, singles or videos, and everything happens within 2-3 months the hype around the release would be insane and fans would be even more into it/looking forward to stuff. But the lack of info and complete disregard of announced dates has us bitchin'.

This whole thing is annoying.The era was actually pretty smooth and fun when we believed the Sep 5th date (one which Lana clearly stated herself), but this is just going to be another tedious era of uncertainty, just like LFL and NFR.

 

I'm sure all of us wouldn't mind waiting if Lana and her team were honest. Just say it's delayed. Just say exactly when it's coming out (or your best guess). Just something.

 

When there's a huge amount of uncertainty with records, it truly does suck the fun and enjoyment out of it, thus making the album bittersweet when it finally does get released. Like @Terrence Loves Me explained. I was relieved (not happy) when NFR finally came out, because then the endless discussions regarding the album would stop. We all were talking like a broken record over HIAB for example (multiple snippets we heard months before). I'm worried this will be the same situation with Lana posting multiple snippets until God knows when. Of course we could all have better self control, but it's not easy.
It's like setting a cake out in front of someone and telling them not to eat it, but it looks so delicious and they take a nibble. Then another, then another one etc until it's finally time to eat a full slice and it doesn't taste as good because you've gotten so used to it

The first magazine of the NFR era came out 3 months before the album was released. Not counting BTD and Paradise (since that era was quite different from her others in terms of timeline and strategy), LFL’s first magazine came 3 months before the record, same with UV’s magazine issue with those selfies. The only exception was Honeymoon - the first magazines for that era came only 2-3 weeks before September 18th. So, really, I can’t imagine that the record will come any later than November/December. I get the frustrations, but the album is most likely coming in October since she has videos and other photoshoots already done, so let’s all stay positive and remind ourselves that it’ll be worth it! Take a break from the site and thinking about this if you have to! <3
