Just found out she collaborated with Rick Nowels for this album!!! :defeated: oh this is gonna be a serve

“On "Memoir of a Sparklemuffin", the platinum-selling singer now presents herself as a versatile, lively and vital personality. Suki brought this work to life with executive producer Hirsch as well as Jonathan Rado (Weyes Blood, Father John Misty, Beyonce), Brad Cook (Bon Iver, War on Drugs, Snail Mail), Greg Gonzalez (Cigarettes After Sex), Rick Nowels (James Blake, Lana del Rey) and Natalie Findlay and Jules Apollinaire of the band Ttrruuces (with whom she wrote "Good Looking" and "OMG"). She loosely ties these 18 tracks to a transformative central concept represented by the Sparklemuffin spider. "I came up with the Sparklemuffin spider - it's wildly colored, does this lightning dance, and its partner cannibalizes it if she doesn't agree with the dance. It's a metaphor for the dance of life that we're all in. The title struck me as hilarious, ridiculous and wonderful."

Jonathan Rado and Rick Nowels.. I’m here.

I’ve been trying to stop with vinyls cause according to discog’s calcuations I’ve spent way too much money on them but I’m probably gonna pick one out.

Omg! Which vinyl did you get? A bitch wants to buy one too but idk what the supply is like rn :trisha:

I actually got two :oic2:. One of the white ones bc those were signed, and then a purple one bc I liked the color better

There's probably not many of each variant... I don't think she's a huge seller (though she should be!). There was a special 500-copy pressing of I Can't Let Go earlier this year that was at Urban Oufitters and it took months to sell out, so I don't think her fanbase is that big
