Ewwwwwwww no

Literally the worst song of lana's career. God-awful vocals, terrible melody, mega lazy production. In fact, there is no production on that song. Why on earth would anyone want that song on any album? It's a football club hymn and not even a good one at that

Reported for tastelessness, thank u xx

I mean, no one in the world except the football fans has ever played this song more than once, I'm sure.

Don't slander my baby You'll Never Walk Alone, it's such a beautiful song with beautiful meaning. I streamed it a lot when it came out it's so beautiful 😭

honestly Beautiful People (one of demos meant for Honeymoon ) Serene Queen, BAR, Yosemite, Thunder (mix 4) and Dealer would shine so beautifully on LFL. the two last songs was made in Winter 2016/Spring 2017 so they could sneak. i could see these six tracks instead of political break-up trap last minute additions (i see them as part of nice EP)

There’s something iconic about the line “I don’t wanna live” in the middle of an album called Lust for Life tbh. I’m here for it :true:

NFR/TLSP California fits nicely with the second half of LFL too tbh

exactly. album would be more chaos of life cycle so it would be iconic that half-afterhalf part of album is about dying and wanting gone:true:

personally i'm leaving California for NFR. it fits to more beach vibe album than witchy alt-pop/psycho americana/moody dream rock mix

nfr is all about cali, so for me, having a song called cali on it is almost imperative. I'm glad she saved it for that album. in fact, it's one of the highlight. a sad masterpice

For this type of rearranging I'd need to think logically. I can't have a song written/recorded in 2020 moved to an album released in 2012.

And ultraviolence as a whole doesn't mention drugs??

Well, her every record mentions drugs, that's not the point. The production of Florida Kilos is most similar to BTD, and really had nothing to do with UV's production. Also, the vocals are more Britney Spears, hence BTD vibes

i dont know why we keep calling it tlsp california when that version is absolutely different and nfr california was heavily reworked

I was under the understanding the NFR version is a finalized version of the TLSP version; the writing credits are Lana and Zach Dawes. I don’t think we know the full extent to which it was rewritten/reworked

i was always thought there was absolutely different lyrics due to snipped part being different lyrics but i really suppose it being heavily reworked because the sound is too nfrish
