Depends on the era. Lately (since COcC) she’s been keeping cards close to her chest (we found about the lead through an insider or from her website, in the data). But for Norman, she had teased the singles before release (post and snippet)

Let me tell you one thing what I have noticed all over the years here as an user and as a lurker. If Lana is about to drop a single, Eclipse has usually shared the release date details, song's length and details like one or few days before the release. I'll never forget the the shock when on a good May evening I opened Blue Banisters pre-release thread on LanaBoards to lurk and the first post I saw was Eclipse's announcement that Lana will release three singles the next day!

Eclipse usually comes through each era with a new single drop info.. Although I don’t think he did with the lead single to Ocean Blvd. All the soundtracks or unexpected collabs, he usually opens up a new thread (we learned from him about her Rob collabs and Blue Skies for The New Look)

He did that for A&W though and also Fly Away (I know she was writing credits there). He also shared credits and song length for Tough, so yeah.
