Lana Del Rey’s “A&W” Added to Rolling Stone’s 500 Greatest Songs of All Time

Rolling Stone updated their list of The 500 Greatest Songs of All Time to include “A&W” at number 456. 
 

Rolling Stone stated:

“A&W” is maximum Lana Del Rey: a sweeping, seven-minute epic that follows the sunburned, SoCal folk rock she’s perfected on recent albums back to the hip-hop-inspired pop productions of her early discography. That musical scope is paired with a narrative that’s no less ambitious — vulnerable and lurid, nostalgic and hopeless, funny and utterly bleak. And the bow tying it all together? The name of classic root beer brand, “A&W” used as shorthand for “American Whore,” because no one bends American iconography to their will like Lana Del Rey”

456 isn’t high enough. It’s truly one of her best songs written and at least deserves top 100 I’m Delulu and think top 50 but I know the GP is tasteless

I think they replaced Summertime Sadness with A&W. I don’t see it there anymore and it was on their 2021 list.
