RFK is definitely pulling some Trump voters. He pulls from both sides, but more from republicans I think.

I wouldn't be surprised if we wake up in the morning to news coming from Biden's admin that he's no longer running. It seemed serious what CNN was discussing.

The way it works is the process for replacement, assuming it happens, is going to take some time. We won’t be hearing about Biden stepping down tomorrow, but some people close to him HAVE to give him the honest, hard truth. 
 

You know that Trump is going to refuse to participate in any future debates, so this is probably the one and only shot Joe had to ease concerns. 
 

Joe has to step down. There’s no rebounding from this.

Since the DNC hasn't chosen yet, does it matter? Can't he just step down from running and someone else step into the limelight? Maybe make a combination post - Biden stepping down and endorsing someone?

If Joe steps down, how on earth are we going to be able to elect another democrat that has even a slim chance of beating Trump. It will be impossible. He is the candidate right now because he has the best chance, which sadly isn't saying much.

I don’t think he’s going to step down on his own. He’s in denial or something. He’s going to have to be convinced, kind of like when in the 70s, Nixon had to be told to resign from the presidency with the whole Watergate thing. 
 

But who is going to step up and convince him to step down? They need to figure out something quick because you don’t want this mess lingering into the DNC.
