I'll start.

Swiftologist gets way too much hate and I'll stand by that . Yes he says out of pocket stuff sometimes but, I've seen people comparing him to Perez Hilton... he's not even half as mean as Perez .

probably not an unpopular opinion butttt online snark forums should be illegal. outlawed. case dismissed. authorized for defamation lawsuits.  the idea of sitting behind a computer screen incessantly hating and hyperfixating on one person is just so odd. and these people have jobs… relationships… lives… yes free speech blah blah but i just can’t imagine- this is someone’s reality currently

Agree, Perez in his heyday was way worse, especially during the Lindsay/Paris/Britney era.

speak on that- the Taylor Swift snark subreddit is horrific, I'm a bit biased cause I'm a fan, but the way they pick her apart is disgusting. There's not one thing they don't hate on- it's very Bitch Eating Crackers energy over there, and that's most snark groups. It also sends me how they know all the lyrics and lore but they claim to loathe her and be mad that she's always being shoved in their face.

I had no idea he was on that show.  He is a celebrity blogger but his peak was 2005-2008 I would say, before social media he was the source for celebrity gossip along with TMZ.

Sometimes the audience or how the audience reacts is more telling of the art than the actual art etc. 

Something I’ll always learn from Wicked is the commentary of the environment/ audience, and that sometimes it does so much more to enjoy the medium by hearing it out before writing it off and missing out on important meanings etc. like doing that just wastes the art

The Swiftlogist is fine but he shouldn’t be seen as the end all be all of TikTok music critics. I think it’s obvious why he doesn’t like certain girls but pointing that out will get you attacked by stans

Jamie Lee Curtis deserved her Oscar

Idk everyone thought Angela Bassett would win her performance was quite good but she was never gonna win. There’s a reason why no marvel movie has ever won an acting Oscar and it’s because the voters don’t watch them. 
 

Also I think Stephanie Hsu was great as well and deserved to win but I don’t think it’s some great miscarriage of justice I think it could have went to either of them for EEAAO
