If the LDR Album Process Discussion thread is too long for you:

In January 2013 Lana was photographed with Rick Nowels while recording songs for her sophomore album. Her notebook had a list of songs on the side of it with an underlined working title, "Tropico" at the top. During an interview in November 2012 she mentioned that Cola would be the second single from Paradise and that she really hopes to release short films for Gods & Monsters and Bel Air.

What's weird is, that the visualizer for Bel Air released in November 2012 had this in the description: "i lost my reputation, i forgot my truth. But i have my beauty and i have my youth. Tropico the film, coming next year."

That leads us to conclude that TROPICO was really just a placeholder name for the then unnamed project but it might be linked conceptually to the stuff she was recording at that time, knowing how Tropico had strong biblical and spiritual imagery.

    This is the track list:

    Tropico
    Old Money
    Black Beauty
    Guns & Roses
    Lake Placid
    Summertime
    Melancholia
    Jesus
    Pink Champagne
    Elvis
    Earthquakes

    Axl Rose
