This article says The Sims 2 and Sims 1 Rereleases are set to come out on January 31st at 16:00 UTC on EA App first. Couldn't agree more, honestly in a perfect world they should've just stopped the main game series at 3 and with this whole nostalgia event announcement release The Sims 3: Remastered with new graphics, (some) new features, new dlcs, and new CAS / BB stuff that's more modern.
