It's not OK, but why are we acting like it doesn't go both ways? Melanie got 10x the hate when the allegation initially came out. Nothing really came of it, people moved on, and now history is repeating itself since there's a new audience on TikTok. Melanie still gets harassment from Timothy's supporters, and vice versa, that's how it's always been since 2017. But it's always "Melanie needs to defend her against the hate" and never the other way around -
 
People fail to realise they have both, and still do, experience online vitriol. TH supporters were spreading around leaked revenge porn of Melanie in 2017 from when she was barely 18 as "revenge", they're currently spreading Melanie's address on Twitter, calling her black boyfriend racial slurs and trying to contact her parents. And of course death threats, but like who's surprised, it's the internet. Are we urging Timothy to speak up and defend her though? Because she hasn't.
 
Also there's no "new" situation; it's the exact same story from seven years ago being retold on a new platform. There is no information beyond what was already known and said back then. We had seven years, and people have brought it up constantly since then, so it's not like anyone forgot. Maybe it's a true enlightening for some people, but IDK... the sudden outrage just because it's trending on TikTok is giving faux activism to me.
 
I wish there were a real solution to this, but they've both already made multiple statements. It's been nearly 10 years since the alleged incident, there's no new information, no action being taken. I'm not sure where either of them should go from here.

Summertime Sadness - I just find this entire song extremely annoying honestly & not even in a "im different" way... its just not fun to listen to
This Is What Makes Us Girls - Somehow still sounds like a demo, could have easily been more elaborate
Lolita - Overproduced to death
Lucky Ones - The demo is simply better
 
Paradise:
Body Electric - I LOVEEEE this song regardless, but if it had more rock elements the way the live did it would be one of LDRs most loved songs
Blue Velvet - I feel like this song was just not needed on the ep but I digress...
Bel Air - Like Summertime Sadness, I find the production on this song annoying. 
 
Ultraviolence:
I have issues with tiny aspects of some of the songs but nothing that would need a rework
 
Honeymoon:
Honeymoon - boringggggg if it had something to spice up the second half of the song I wouldn't skip it halfway every time
Freak - The demo is the version that should have been released, the trap beats on this are horrendous
Burnt Norton - Just delete it
Don't Let Me Be Misunderstood - Needed a complete rework, whole song is jank.
 
Lust For Life:
Love - Boring, she sounds the exact same the entire song and the production is bland, too minimal for LFL
Lust For Life - 2018 me would have wanted a full rework but this song has aged like fine wine honestly...
White Mustang - Should have been bigger, like Love she sounds bored the entire time.
Change - It gets boring, it needed something to spice up the second half
 
NFR:
Happiness is a butterfly: I love every song off the album but the production on HIAB always seemed very weak and repetitive to me
 
Chemtrails:
Tulsa Jesus Freak: Horrible production, someone else should have produced this honestly...
LMLYLAW: The song was a chop from the start but Pink Champagne was it's departure to the skip grave
Wild At Heart: ANNOYING SONG, let's give the production to someone else.
Dark But Just A Game: Had potential but it sounds like they made 1 demo then released it
Breaking Up Slowly: Annoying production. Nikki Lane did nothing for this song.
For Free: A Nightmare. Why was this released?

Text Book: Throw the whole thing away.
Blue Banisters: Could have been good if it didn't get so boring and repetitive.
Arcadia: Annoying, bad production.
Black Bathing Suit: Her worst produced of all time, the constant changing from voice memo to studio vocals is stupid as hell. Not to mention the song is just shit.
Beautiful: I like the simple production on it, but it needed those strings.
Violets For Roses: This sounds like a first draft demo.
Thunder: Why didn't she just re-record it..? You can hear the demo in the background + the demo is better.
Wildflower: The definition of a bland song, does not need to exist.
Nectar of the Gods: This is a concept demo with a horrible master over it... lazy ass
Living Legend: This is a concept demo with a horrible master over it... lazy ass
Cherry Blossom: This is a concept demo with a horrible master over it... lazy ass
Sweet Caroline: The production is just bad. This album would have been listenable with literally any other producer.

in my opinion Coachella is perfect as is. One of her best songs. 

It's not "i'm in the wind, i'm in the water" - that doesn't make any sense 
 
It's "You're in the wind, I'm in the water"
1. Cause it's very obvious that's what she's saying...
2. it matches the astrology theme. "you're in the wind" meaning the man she's talking about is an air sign and "i'm in the water" meaning she's a water sign (She's a Cancer). 
3. It would only make sense if she said "I'm in the fire" cause Leo is a fire sign 
 
Also still one of her best songs to date

Zodiac lowkey took SOTW 

I really love this song and wish she released it   
 
I feel like this fits into the narrative of Ocean Blvd so well in terms of conversation based around legacy. Specifically how she name dropped four women who had their legacy stolen from them and practically turned into folklore revolving around someone else. It's actually really beautiful how she paid tribute to women by giving them a "hey we didn't forget about you"
 
I also feel like Lana connects with them because during the Lizzy Grant days she was pretty much homeless and living with whatever boyfriends that would let her stay over, she seems to reflect a lot on how she got lucky with her situation and others did not. It could have happened to her and considering this took place so close to her, it probably freaked her out.

Ohhh it was an april fools joke  cause that title actually belongs to A&W off lana del reys studio album did you know that theres a tunnel under ocean blvd
 
 

Taylor is the biggest loser ever it's hilarious actually, I'll never respect her as an artist... mediocre accolade hag all-over

It's fun and it's refreshing from the typical LDR ballad and jack antonoff but it's not necessarily that good either  I think she has more fun songs honestly -- this is just kinda... mundane. I feel like she could have made a better trap-pop song.
