Its my favourite of "lover" even tho it isnt on the og album but a later realesed outtake. Its such a hit idek why she didnt put it out in 2019, i think it wouldve been a hit

There’s crack in the melody of the Fortnight verses.

I also think this line, the part that says “no one here’s to blame” is about the fans and a call back to BDILH. She’s telling the audience, “none of you are at fault for this relationship, even though you did try and break us up (the quiet treason)”.

This is gonna sound so snobby but, Travis ruins Taylor’s old money aesthetic. The gold Rolex, the head-to-toe Gucci, the weird little bucket hats. 
 

Taylor wouldn’t be caught dead in something as pedestrian as a Rolex or a monogrammed bucket hat.
