Promo CD's are the CD's sent to radio stations, etc. in order to promote the singles and such in certain regions. They are not for resale to the public, but can sometimes be purchased through sites like Ebay, or more conveniently, Discogs - which you can also use to keep track of your collection. In most cases, the tracks will consist of things like remixes, in others they can consist of early demos, acapellas, instrumentals and other rare things that may be unleaked to the public. Mine aren't anything special, but I do recommend Discogs immensely.
