electra 20,630 Posted January 3, 2019 to this point get a shipping container tbh. very curious about the electric guitar, that's such a special collection item to own you're the master of this wow I'm actually very shook there's an awful story behind it actually. it was christmas eve 2017 and i got steaming drunk. like bad drunk. i had to be carried to my bosses flat by my boss and one of the guys i worked with and i threw up like everywhere and passed out. when i woke on on christmas day i had like a million missed calls from my parents cause they thought i had been kidnapped/murdered/raped on christmas eve and eventually i picked up at like midday. my mum picked me up from his flat, i get in the car and it's in the footwell of the passenger seat. my mum tells me it's a present for me and i was like oh wow a guitar (i already had a guitar and i'm not super duper into playing guitar so didn't really know why my mum bought it for me) and then i looked down the body and saw the fucking signature on the scratch plate. how much of an asshole kid am i? to make my own parents think i'm dead on christmas when my mum bought me THAT. it's basically my favourite object ever. i think whoever originally got it signed just bought a scratch plate, asked her to sign the scratch plate and then attached it to a guitar body (the signature is under the strings so it makes the most sense). but a lot of people ask lana to sign weird shit - i've seen drumheads and baseballs online ffs. 2 Quote Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
