Im happy charli is getting recognition but all this noise for an album that’s not even top 3 of her discog is insane 

Burn Rubber feat charli xcx sounds fake to me because 1) it’s Sarah’s song 2) with all the amazing charli feats why have her do that? As much as I love it… taxi or WGFU? Bounce ? Like….

Her label should’ve done the same thing they did with SZA when she was working on CTRL and just steal her hard drive and publish whatever was on it cause if this had been released in 2019 it would have made every single top 100 albums of the decade list and ushered in a new wave of pop music for real. what baffles me about a-listers like katy coming out with absolute pure dogshit is that they could hire a team of talented writers to come out with good music for them, but they choose not to. she could pull a beyonce and have a writing room of the most talented singers, songwriters and producers to come up with a decade-defining album, but chooses not to. she chose to release this god awful song. that's so evil to me. having the resources to do something good and still choosing not to. so fucking insane.
