The guy in the car in the "West Coast" video is Mark Mahoney, the primary tattoo artist at Hollywood's Shamrock Social Club tattoo studio.  Does anyone know his connection to Lana?  Did he possibly do her tattoos?  I'm curious to see if there is any info on this.

EDIT: On a less giddy note -- googling his and Lana's names together doesn't bring up more than the video for WC, so I'd imagine his inclusion was just somethin' Lana felt like, for the sake of iconicism.

I doubt it, as Mahoney has been tattooing in L.A. since the late '70's.  Lana's trailer park was in Jersey, so doesn't seem to fit.
