This shit also tires me like, is there *nobody else* you could compare it to? Does it *have* to always be some comparison or tie back to some artist or band from ye old days? Is the sound really *that* exact? I like lots of music pre 80s tbh- I just don’t get the velvet underground hype- the music was just not that great compared to their contemporaries- even Nancy Sinatra was putting out better albums with her covers.

like sucker turned her away from the more indie sound of true romance, vroom vroom was deffo a big turn from sucker, charli was completely different to vroom vroom, crash and hifn are two completely different albums.

I would be MORE surprised if her next album sounded like crash than if it didn't...
