Charli XCX

my xcx3 tracklist + reasoning for placement

1) Girl's Night Out  <-- gentle opener; sets the stage for what the album will entail.

2) Bounce <-- most album's best songs are 2nd/3rd track, Bounce perfectly picks up after GNO and speeds the alum up a bit

3) Boys <-- the double B tracks are side by side and this slows things back down after Bounce

4) Come To My Party <-- shoves boys to the back and forces itself and the album to pick back up

5) Queen Lizzy <-- For most albums I've heard the 5th track is usually just a filler or is really dull

6) Down Like Woah <-- retains the same toned down beat as QL but picks up at the end ; sends songs into a more sexual spectrum

7) Ring <-- introduces the sexual anthems of the album picks up that weird synth at the end of DLW.

8) Waterfall <-- immediately is faded into by Ring and slows things down. The dramatic stripper anthem is a go big or go home track.

9) After The Afterparty (feat. Lil Yachty) <-- Lets the listener know the party is going to go on, no matter what

10) Good Girls <-- the last slammer of the album, finishes strong and lets the listener know this is very "out of the ordinary"

11) I Wanna Be With U <-- rips open the heart of the album and plunges you into the emotions

12) Die 4 <-- The build up of emotion  continues and if Die 4 doesnt make u cry, the last two tracks will.

13) Can You Hear Me <-- The last love sick song of the album. The strongest one as well. tells you charli has no regrets about anything

14) Bottles <-- A more depressing end to XCX3, starts off by saying there's no time for regrets and lets us know charli will continue to party and suppress her emotions; alo closes because at the end she says "lets do it all again" then the album starts over :)

JAPANESE EDITION BONUS TRACK:

15) After The Afterparty (Acoustic) - its always cute to include an acoustic song, especially when the song is so representative of the album

My XCX World tracklist + my reasoning for each track's position:

1) After the After Party  <-- gentle opener; the 1st single of the album

2) Bounce <-- most album's best songs are 2nd/3rd track (My own edit: Kyary Version  + i fixed the bass in the first repetition of each verse bc it sounded weird + added the missing "Bounce!" samples + sped up just a touch to match the live performance tempo but without pitch increase ) (DL if interested: https://dbr.ee/eB7Q

3) Good Girls <-- has a gentle intro contrasting how intense Bounce ends, which is pleasant but picks up

4) Can You Hear Me <-- introduce a gentler side of the album

5) Come to My Party <-- but bring back the party vibes

6) Down Like Wow <-- more party vibes; starts getting intense

7) Waterfall <-- introduce a new theme to the album, but keep building intensity

8) Die 4 <-- most dramatic (sad) moment in the album; intensity = max

9) I Wanna B With You (SOPHIE version) <-- now bring it back down softly

10) Ring Ring <-- awhh yeahhh; choli's hornyyyy

11) Queen Lizzy <-- most album's weaker songs are second to last

12) Girls Night Out <-- strong finisher

TARGET JAPANESE EDITION BONUS TRACKS:

13) Paris

14) Glow (with SOPHIE drums)

15) Up n Down (Noonie Bao Demo)

"Target Japanese Bonus Tracks." Lmao...

Why was there 5+ pages of someone bashing Britney with the stalest and most over-exaggerated "tea" (mostly about her past while claiming her stans cling to the past, btw)

y'all really lost it this time, put me on some tag list or something when a song leaks

Man, I listen to ATAP and I'm like, "obviously the label had a hand in this..." and "I just want Charli's original vision of XCX3... like a bunch of Vroom Vroom, Round & Round, GNO, Taxi, CTMP, Up & Down... No Angel (to mix it up)... club-synth, dope PC music-type, rave, high-future party bangerssss..."

Not (over)commercialized material that's trying way too hard to be Boom Clap, aka "her next hit" all over again... but a sleek, shining, progressive electronic pop album. :deadbanana:

...and I know that's not what we're going to get... :( but that's not to the fault of Charli.
