Britney Spears

Recommended Posts

After a few listenings, the song has really grown on me. Its a funny and party song. After 7 albums its really hard to still find new sounds and reinvent yourself. But she did it. Better than safe oversweet pop.

So I'm ready y'all, here is my non delusional review of the track, keep in mind that I'm a die hard Britney fan so I'm trying to be the least delusional I can.

After hearing the song all day long (since it leaked) I can say that it's a good opening track, Britney is telling everyone that she is the HBIC and she is ready to let you in her world. You wanna live her life, you wanna own her car, well you betta Work Bitch!. The song is her first co-penned first single since Me Against the Music and that's not the only thing that this 2 tracks have in common, both tracks has a speaking Britney and a few singing verses. Wich is not bad for this new phase of Britney, Ibizaney. HOWEVER this single screams "I'm a buzz single y'all", wich is not bad either but I feel it doesn't top her previous works or the urban/hi-hop sound she said the album will have. But the track definetly gives you that Blackout 2.0 vibe.

I'm happy with it, I found it a funny club track but different from the others, this is a Britney club track, it has her name written all over it, it even have a Britney joke in it.

Go call the police
Go call the governor
I bring the treble
There mean the trouble, y'all

I am the governor
Call me the governor
I'm the bad bitch

So I'm really happy with the track, I can even say it has less autotune than other singles, the only thing I would change will be the bunch of BV over the chorus.  Fixed on the final version  :worship:  :worship:  :worship:

So Godney is back y'all.

EDIT: for once Godney told the true

The "final" one is kinda different from the one it leaked + it's censored

I'm really smashing it, it's great, it tells those lessors to work for what she got. It doesn't sound nothing like Alexandra Stan. But wtvr everyone can have their awful taste

@@butterflies there are listed people who work on the music and not the lyrics, Sebastian Ingrosso for example said that him gave some beats to will, but he can¿t take credits, but Godney is giving him the credits he deserve.

YOU BETTA WORK BITCH

true dat.

oh. sry I didn't know...

I know that you love her, but be honest and admit that this is weak.

In the zone>>>>

I saw a pic what you posted here "recipe for new album"... I hope that this song represent Femme Fatale, even though this is weaker than any song from FF  :(

Okay, so I really like the single. To me, it's kind of Blackout meets Femme Fatale and then meets In the Zone. I won't lie, at first I really thought the track was way too weak but I listened to it like twenty times now and it's grown on me already. I'll avoid overplaying it because I still want to enjoy it.

By the way, when I downloaded the song, it was an iTunes file already. Does anyone care sending me what's supposedly the demo/early mix of it? (You know this is directed to you, @@Baby V Alex, help a fellow.)

And I've been listening to Britney so much lately. I downloaded a few torrents with her unreleased songs so I could replace some of my files with better quality ones, and I also found out that I was missing a few specific things (like the "Early Morning" demo) and now it seems that everything's complete. And now we even have a new single, couldn't be better. :flutter:

YOU BETTER WORK BITCH!

In other words, I love this song. It's nothing like anything on the radio right now and that makes me very happy. Britney has yet again caused a new trend, sound, and has saved pop music for the good of mankind.
