I don't think Liz changed the lyric "So put your hands on my body rub it over me" because Sophie literally kept that specific lyric out of the Heav3n Suspended remix and during some of her live shows so I think it was being reworked on so idk why people are just trying to blame it on Liz

I’m sorry but how am I the fan in question when I said I don’t care about Liz being on the album? If I cared less I would be dead. Genuinely. 

 

I did not make any connection between the “conflict” and transness I simply showed you examples of how two issues can be seen as “different political beliefs”.

 

A lot of people think misgendering trans people, banning them from sports, bathrooms, etc… is simply a matter of different political beliefs, the same way you think be in favor of a genocide is a matter of political belief. Does it mean we should platform every transphobic person because it’s just a political belief and we can get along regardless of their political beliefs?

I don’t think I can cope with this thread going dormant  it feels so weird and final having this album (almost) out. 
 

I hope that there are more official releases and unheard leaks that trickle out from now on, because it’s hard to think about music going forward without her, and without the speculation and anticipation around her live sets and collabs and everything.

 

She just had something nobody else really did. I discovered her alongside pc music back in 2014 and even most of that crew just doesn’t excite me the same way anymore. This is making me emotional all over again almost worse than when she actually passed

My Forever is finally released in its final form. This will always be my favorite Sophie song ever and I still remember the first time hearing it on a YouTube video. I always listen it on the bus while going home from college, it was a very simple time.

 "songcrafting-wise", I kinda prefer the original My Forever demo/vocal take, but I can understand the whole feeling of this final version. It's highkey emotional to be honest, you can feel a lot of longing as if the feeling is about SOPHIE.
