graham4anything 2,859 Posted November 20, 2016 President Obama fans want a continuation of President Obama's agenda/legacy and will have to wait 4 years to continue what inevitably will keep moving forward lose a battle, but win the war Hillary won the popular vote in US now it's over 1.6 million votes. Trump has not gotten much more than Mitt did. Hillary has gotten more votes than anyone in history but President Obama (and there are still outstanding votes which will increase her total). Radical change? Sorry most Americans did not want radicals inducing radical change. (and radicals are extremists.)It takes time in the US to do things, slowly, and going backward doesn't achieve anything, but wastes more time until it happens Meanwhile, Trump has hired the most far-rightwing people so far, religious based, anti-this and anti-that. And Trump's threats yesterday against "Hamilton" bode not well only mistake Hillary made was not putting Cory Booker on the ticket, and attempting even more, to win the southern states that are now close to turning blue. (I would jettison some of the northern or north-west states, and concentrate on the south. Unfortunately Bernie Nader Sanders and the media will attempt to jettison the minorities which is the exact opposite. This is the Republicans last stand and I still don't accept that it wasn't hacked in a few of the states, if not hacked, the black vote was stopped in NC, Wisconsin and Florida, 3 states seemingly won by Hillary that were not on the record as her winning. But the republicans now own 100% of everything and for the next 18-24 months, it is all on them. Perhaps in the end, it will actually lead to President Obama's agenda being filled quicker than expected because of this (and note- the Republicans are 100% defeated. Trump might have been seated, but he ruined the party. And Trump might fail because he betrayed the voters who voted for him if he doesn't do 100% of everything. It's not like he is going to put coal back into the mines that have no coal. and it's now likely Trump might start a world war. Just look at his people he wants in his cabinet and his FBI and CIA and NSA people. Comey should have to answer why he withheld info on Trump and Javert like obsessed on Hillary. the US needs the world, far more than the world needs US, a mistake the Republicans and conservatives keep making. And without California and New York, there is no US. Kamala Harris, Cory Booker, Elizabeth Warren, Michelle Obama... pick 2 of the four for the ticket in 2020, and sure victory vs. whomever the Republicans nominate. (I would surmise Trump is not going to want to be President another 4 years, he sort of indicated it was one and done months ago.) 0 Quote Lana is our modern day Edith Piaf. Yeah sure, it's his fault that Hillary is a imperialist murderer, a liar, etc..., I mean, she tried to seem like an feminist icon or something when in fact she fuc*ed the life of a lot of women (both american women and non-american women) IMO, Trump is a smart guy, he knew what to say and how to say, that's why he won. He knows how to use his image. Obviously I do not agree with anything that he says, I think that he's a fuc*ing as*hole, but he knew what the americans wanted to hear. just to be clear: I do not support trump, I think that he's a fuc*ng bigot and stuff, but Hillary isn't better than him. graham4anything 2,859 Posted November 20, 2016 in the end, Bernie is nothing more than a stupid bumbling old white male who found his $$$$. Nothing he says matters. Bernie the honest man was just a tag line that is the ultimate lie. After all, he fled the big city for the whitest of white areas where he supports WMDs and the NRA. What did Bernie do in2010 to stop Walker from being Gov in Wisconsin or Scott in Florida? Nothing at all. He hasn't spent one penny on stopping any Republican at any time in his life. (Same as Nader never did either. Same as Ron and Rand Paul never did.) Bernie is Trump is George Wallace. All part of the anti-women club. Now Angela Merkel and Justin Trudeau are the leaders of the free world. And congratulations to Charlie Crist and Debbie Wasserman Schulz in Florida for their amazing victories to the house. Every single person Bernie back got creamed. When Trump and Russia massacre billions of people taking over the NATO nations, I betcha Bernie will be smiling widely. He loves him some Putin after all. Bernie is Ralph Nader. Same people stopped the two biggest liberal presidents ever- Jimmy Carter in 1980 and LBJ in 1968. and no to Ellison as DNC head, as he already has a job, and the DNC should be a full time position. Now please stop with the HIllary remarks. She is not going to be President in 2017. So any mention of her or President Obama in a negative sense, is now irrelevant. BTW, I would vote for Hillary in a rematch in 2020 but I doubt she will run. Kamala Harris, Michelle Obama, Elizabeth Warren, Cory Booker. and Charlie Crist would make a great VP for Harris, Obama or Booker. He is beloved in Florida and would help secure those electoral votes too. Hillary now leads the popular vote by 1.65 million and won every single minority group, won Jews with over 70%, won millennials (bigly) won the under 40 age group won the woman's vote. Trouble is, America is not a Democracy, it is a Republic. And Bernie is one of the few politicians still out there today fighting against Trump's rhetoric, standing up for the minorities in America. Don't get me wrong, I love Hillary and I think she would have made a far better president than Trump, but when Bernie had criticized her in the past, it was over her connections with the establishment and Wall Street (after all, she did say she has a "private and a public position" on Wall Street). Bernie has been fighting for equality and the rights of minorities since he entered the world of politics. He has remained consistent in his views throughout the course of his entire career, whereas it seems Hillary only seemed to really care about all of the minorities just as she was running her Presidential campaign. (I'm not saying that she doesn't care about minorities, but simply that she only really stressed the importance of their rights in the years preceding her campaign).

I'll never be able to understand this American Dream ideology. There are several countries that have already established "social systems". Especially education is the key to sustainable wealth. Considering it's only available to those who have already money, it's harder to climb up the ladder for someone who does not have a such a source Yes, I agree completely 110%!! Bernie's political ideology is modelled around that of the Scandinavian systems, which by the way, literally have the highest rankings on indexes measuring gender equality and treatment of minorities, equal wealth distribution, happiness ratings and so on (Trust me, look up any international research on these things and I can guarantee they will all be high up in the lists). It only makes sense to try and replicate their progressive systems considering how effective they are! They have the best standards of living and stable economies with low crime rates. I'm sure you've all heard the saying that a team is only as valuable as its weakest player, well... I think it definitely applies in this situation: a society is only as good as its treatment of its outcasts. Take Iceland for example, there have NEVER been "official cases on discrimination in employment" based on LGBTI identity throughout its entire recorded history. Why?... Because their political system is progressive and works to protect the rights of all people. Heck, they are the ONLY country in the world to have had a LGBTI president... AND she was a female (for anyone who is interested, her name is Jóhanna Sigurðardóttir). According to a recent 'Gay Happiness Index' conducted around the world, the top four places in the world for LGBTI people were Iceland, Norway, Denmark and then Sweden... ALL Scandinavian countries with the same ideology that Bernie is trying to implement into American politics. Of course, life for LGBTI people is not the only thing that makes a good country, but I am using it as one of the many examples that show how this system that Bernie is trying to bring to America really works... And it is a proven fact, not an opinion. They are ranked as the best countries in the world in the majority of studies highlighting practically every social, cultural, economic and political measure. So people can continue supporting the outdated ways of the establishment and nothing will ever change, or you can be a part of Bernie Sander's political revolution which has the potential to literally change all of America for the better, if only people would look at the facts that show he is supporting the most effective political ideology in the world. And I am sick of hearing people call Bernie a 'communist'. Yes, he is a socialist, but socialist =/= communist. They are two different things. Communism is a radical form of socialism. If you want that, go to China or Vietnam or Russia. Bernie is advocating for a system like Iceland, Denmark, Sweden which are all democracies, much more similar to the US political system than that of the aforementioned communist states.
graham4anything 2,859 Posted November 21, 2016 I ask you cacciatore- who did Bernie vote for in 1980. That answer says everything that needs to be known about Bernie. The US is far far far far far far far far bigger than Sweden and here it is very conservative. (It took after all the rightwing SCOTUS to authorize gay marriage, because the 4 liberals were not enough. Do you realize that there hasn't been a liberal court in 60 years, and up to days before, it was a guarantee the courts would instantly switch to 5 to 4 liberal (Had it been any other year, Hillary would have won the EV as it would have been a week earlier, a quirk in the calendar in 2016 made it the 8th instead of the 2 or 3 or 4th because it is the first Tuesday only after the first Monday in Nov.) Even Trump and his people thought he lost on election day (he did, but someone flipped a few votes (putin??? His hackers are the best). Maybe Bernie should take a hike and move to Sweden. BTW- Russia is NOT Communist. Russia is a Democracy. Russia was a horrible form of Communism years ago, but Gorby gave the USSR and Russia Democracy and they HAD one to one open elections where one vote went for the person they voted for (Putin is a former KGB vile dictator similar to the horrible Pol Pot or Idi Amin who wants to take over Europe and get rid of NATO to achieve that goal. The USA cannot divide 270 into 3 people. Someone always gets screwed when that happens, and like 1980, 2000 and now 2016, it has happened again that the Democratic party got screwed by a third party or fracture. Free school is great, but of course, comes at a cost in much higher takes up front (try 50% higher nationwide). Most kiddies don't have to worry as their parents pay for it either way, while the kids whine they need to go to Harvard. Why not try city or state college, or a 2 year college? Hillary won the MOST votes ever except for 2008 and Barack Obama who is a once in a 100 year leader. Hillary did not lose. The lying media has run another FAKE NEWS MEME that meme was that voters abandoned Hillary that is a lie. They gave a fake total on election day, when upwards of 25% of the national vote had yet to be counted and the votes are still not done because places like California allow all votes to be counted until they are finished, and any vote in the mail that is postmarked election day is counted (one reason this is done is for the troops overseas, but in California, the majority of the state votes ahead of time.) California and NYC the single most liberal places in the US, avidly voted, enthusiastically voted for Hillary Just because stereotypes and slurs against Hillary are used, none of that is true. BTW, cacciatore, why the hatred for the beautiful cobblestone street that is called Wall Street? And do you realize how many millions of people are employed by the so called companies that work on Wall Street? (or people think work on Wall Street?) Millions, and millions nationwide, worldwide in places one does not even realize. Do people realize that without those companies, how many people would have no work, and how many side industries?Take the food industry- that feeds the people who work down there on Wall Street. The growers of food, the bottlers, the canners, the people who make napkins and paper plates, the pizza places, the delivery people, the people that operate bodegas and delis and cafes and the hotels in that area that are filled with business people or reality tv stars like the Kardasians. The entire Tribeca area for one.. Who do you think died on 9-11 in those buildings, 99% of them worked 9 to 5 for regular money. Not billionaires. Hard working people. Why the hatred for all of those people? Why the hatred even for a person who is rich? Bernie wants trickle down like Reagan did. Trickle down to the middle (which doesn't work), but Bernie don't give 2 spits for the poorest He is the leader of the Workers Party Bernie was NOT a champion of women's rights, ever. Bernie might have protested, but he wasn't a major 60s protester That would be the legendary Mark Rudd and the SDS or the Chicago 7 Bernie was not part of that. No, Bernie is like Forrest Gump. Stupid is as stupid does. And no, Forrest Gump wasn't there either, he photoshopped himself in. Bernie is someone who was used by the Republican operatives like Roger Stone, the way Ralph Nader was used by Lee Atwater. and the Republicans would love for the Democratic party to jettison the minorties and go to a fool like Bernie who would get less EVs than Mike Dukakis (whom the Republicans smeared, who was a really great person), or other silly folks like George McGovern or Eugene McCarthy who led to Republicans winning in the past. Republicans have been playing dirty tricks since Nixon, and Nixon used the Southern Strategy to steal the south from the Democratic party after LBJ heroically signed the Civil Rights and Voting rights acts. Today the Republicans are the party of the George Wallace/David Duke's of the nation. White Nationalists aka Neo-Nazis aka racists aka KKK. (and yes, Lincoln was a Republican, and in a prior switch, the Republicans became the Democratic party of JFK/LBJ/President Carter and Obama. But please answer- who did Bernie vote for in 1980. We know who Elizabeth Warren voted for, and I forgive her for doing that. Bernie has never advertised who he voted for, but, the Cohn Brothers personally told me. And it says it all. (I know, do you?) Three most liberal Presidents of all time were LBJ, President Obama and Jimmy Carter. But that wasn't good enough??? Hillary might not have been perfect, but we won't ever know how liberal she would have been. So, who did Bernie vote for in 1980? That is the answer of who Bernie is. (It wasn't Jimmy Carter). (and we are talking 1980). Bernie is NO liberal. Nor does he call himself one. And I myself am a John V. Lindsay liberal. (LBJ, Obama, Dr. King liberal). and Bernie does not back the CBC or the Honorable John Lewis. I myself do. The CBC earned my respect. Bernie? No one in the US even knew him prior to a few years ago. Is he honest? Who knows, but his makers/operators say so.Now, I look to Angela Merkel and Justin Trudeau as the leaders of the Free World. and hope in 4 years we right the wrong that was done in 2016. Funny in the 1970s, John Lennon released a record called "Walls and Bridges". How appropriate to now. Only bridges, no walls. the world is one. 0 Quote Lana is our modern day Edith Piaf. graham4anything 2,859 Posted November 21, 2016 Bernie fans- here is an idea. Run for office in places where there is no Democratic person in office. better yet- seriously now, it would only take a couple of hundred thousand people (total) to turn the following states blue- so why not, (especially if just sitting around doing nothing) take journey out to the plains area and the mid-west and move to WYOMING MONTANA SOUTH DAKOTA NORTH DAKOTA NEBRASKA KANSAS UTAH OKLAHOMA and turn all those states blue from bottom-up. All it takes is one person to run for each office and a few hundred thousand voters can turn fully red states, blue. Seems a no-brainer to me, with nothing to lose, and everything to gain (while most of those states have few EVs, they have an equal legislature to other states (one for each state) and very few people populate most of those states (after all, Bernie did just that. He fled NYC and went to northern Vermont (and all one has to do is officially move, and get on the voting rolls.) 0 Quote Lana is our modern day Edith Piaf. Even Trump and his people thought he lost on election day (he did, but someone flipped a few votes (putin??? His hackers are the best). Well, I believe that with the right leader and vision, the fight is worth having. It is better to try and make things better but only succeed on a certain level than to not try at all and achieve nothing (meanwhile, let people like Trump make things even worse). And what does the size of America honestly have to do with the effectiveness of Bernie's vision? And I'm sorry... I do not support Trump whatsoever, but to make such unsupported claims that he rigged the election is just as absurd as Trump's rhetoric himself. He won fair and square, just the way that every other President has won throughout history. I understand that Hillary won the popular votes but considering the role of the electoral college, Trump won. To refute that is just as bad as Trump refuting the legitimacy of Obama's birth details. Thank you for the correction. I am currently studying the impact of Nazism in Germany for a History assessment I have so I'm guessing that's how that falsity made it into my writing. Still, it is not a very just democracy considering that Putin could easily be considered a dictator. The USA cannot divide 270 into 3 people. Someone always gets screwed when that happens, and like 1980, 2000 and now 2016, it has happened again that the Democratic party got screwed by a third party or fracture. Of course the third party votes undeniably had an impact on the election, but ultimately it was placing Hillary in the position of Presidential candidate that actually lost the Democratic votes, since so many Democrats were not willing to vote for her because of her history of corruption, greed and inconsistent policy. Bernie wants trickle down like Reagan did. Trickle down to the middle (which doesn't work), but Bernie don't give 2 spits for the poorest He is the leader of the Workers Party Doesn't care for the poorest? How on earth can you even make that sort of claim without some kind of logical explanation. If he doesn't care about the poor then tell me something he's said/done that indicates so. And also... do you even know what Bernie stands for??? He wants a trickle-down economy like Reagan?? Um... no he DOESN'T. I recommend you watch this short video from 2015 where he literally criticises the entire idea of trickle down economics AND even mentions how Ronald Reagan advocating for it was a failure. So don't come for him saying he supports something that he doesn't at all... BTW, cacciatore, why the hatred for the beautiful cobblestone street that is called Wall Street? If I did, I wouldn't be on this website, considering that Lana's net worth is at least $8 million... All I am saying is that Hillary has a "private and public position on Wall Street" (an exact quote by her), which clearly shows where her interests truly lie. Bernie was NOT a champion of women's rights, ever. Bernie might have protested, but he wasn't a major 60s protester Can you please define what you mean by a normal protester and a "major protestor". As far as I'm aware, if he was protesting in the 60s then that to me is a clear indicator that he has supported women's rights throughout his political career.
graham4anything 2,859 Posted November 21, 2016 @@Cacciatore- I don't know how to block quote and then answer the answers to my statements but will answer some of the above- Bernie and his rabid fan club are no different than the religious right rabid fan club and the Ron Paul / Rand Paul and Trump fan club of absolute or nothing at all I am a believer in that 10% of something is better than 100% of nothing because the 10% is now here and present (like the ACA/Obamacare) Problem with Bill Clinton in 1993 was he and Hillary tried for 100% and got zero and didn't try nything else (like an ACA at the time) One gets their foot in the door, to later kick the door down and it takes patience and compromise President Obama threw up 185% of his agenda, and had gotten close to 100% of the main things which needed 4 more years to get all the I's dotted and T's crossed now it wil take holding on for dear life and 4 more years to achieve, AND ONLY if Liberal justices (the 4) remain healthy, and the hope that Republican Kennedy remains on the court (the Republicans/Bush forced Sandra D. O'Connor a moderate somewhat into retirement and that is how Roberts and Alito came to be. So IF those 5 hold on, perhaps the damage will be less than imagined. Now,Bernie is for the same old, same old Norman Rockwell white picket fence, male white worker who lost their job that ain't ever comingback (and as Michael Moore said, lost their wife and kids because they just whine and don't actively look for another area to live in if there are no jobs. (there is NO coal, nor should coal be used anyhow). Who Berrnie voted for in 1980 is so important. Had Jimmy Carter won reelection, and had everyone who didn't vote for him (I voted for Jimmy) listened to him, we would need NO oil and gas today at all. We would not be reliant on overseas or American drilling at al. But the powers that be didn't listen As for the vote totals- the Democratic party did NOT flee. The votes are still being counted and Hillary now leads by 1.5 million and rising (it will be close to 2 million or more when it is all done. President Obama saved the nation from a depression, brought back the automobile industry to pay for what Bernie wants would mean a tax increase of 50% I for one would want France's health care, or Canada's but it means mega-taxes to workers UP FRONT, pay it forward when one is ill, no bills then healed one goes back to work and pays more taxes Bernie was asked to get off his one paragraph sound byte and explain where the money to pay for it would come from. He hemmed and hawed. and had either no idea (like the Republicans are going to find out) or lied (knowing one can't say a 50% tax increase (there is no way one can tax a CEO and it comes to anything meaningful. One can become shareholder and get a new CEO, but that also doesn't get the money needed as it is, the US has the least amount of unemployment in decades (thanks to President Obama). as to building infrastructure, Trump wants to privatize it, meaning the roads/tunnels/bridges will come with a high toll for people who use it (which is a tax or people don't use it See= Florida for two major toll roads that are empty because people take a longer end-around on other roads, with much traffic Same in New Jersey when they don't take the NJ Turnpike and take 95 through PA instead again, Bernie's ideas are great, but it won't happen, not across America, where NY and California and a few other states are very liberal (all voting heavily for Hillary) and the other states much more conservative (especially the northern ones Hillary seemingly lost (Wisconsin, Michigan, Florida with their Republican governors and all those states and North Carolina and Georgia had mega restrict the Black voters from voting problems AFTER the rigtwing court got rid of LBJs voting rights before putting a replacement in Hillary had the court switched. That alone was worth voting for Hillary for. Now there is nothing and hoping for the safety and health of 3 older justices, along with the continued health of the younger Kagen and the great Justice Sotomayor. Absolute only works as a name of Vodka. Doesn't work in politics in a nation built 100 on compromise. Where in the Republican party, they danced on the graves of moderates. Even if Trump wanted to go left, the congress won't let him, and not one of his picks for his cabinet gives any comfort for anyone different, any woman, and any human right at all. And Trump himself said, the Vice President will be doing all the foreign and domestic work, and Pence is a rightwing, far right wing, Religious extremist where only his religion matters. Who will think nothing of bombing Iran and have a third world war. (do they even know that one bomb, with the radiation, will destroy the entire world See the movie "On the beach". It only takes one. 0 Quote Lana is our modern day Edith Piaf. Totally unique. a mixture of Brian WIlson Roy Orbison, Leonard Cohen, Gram Parsons, Elton & Bernie. Born to Die/Paradise is comparable to Elton's Captain Fantastic. All the records need to be listened whole. daytonadeath 3,596 Posted November 22, 2016 Yes, I agree completely 110%!! I really, really agree w/ a lot of thing that you've said. But, as a marxist, I think that we've never had any real communist experience. Communism is the final form of socialism, and we've never had this. I mean, in communism, the State wouldn't exist anymore bc (by the marxist logic) in the socialist phase, we would had the dictatorhip of the proletariat + revolution (it's called dictatorship bc we belive that we live in a burgeois dictartoship, so the proletarian government would be like democracy should be, I mean, everyone would have the same rights, voice, etc... and the class struggle would end bc the working class would have the power, not the burgeois). Following this logic, those countries that you've mentioned have a system that would be considered "State capitalism", bc we still have private property, inequality and every capitalist stuff in those countries. The State in those countries acts exactly in the same way that the burgeois acts in the other countries, so, they can't be considered communist. Unfortunately, they've said that they are communist, but they're a bunch of dictators who are exploiting the working class by saying that they are communists (which it's not true).

analwinterofmylife 2,644 Posted November 22, 2016 @@graham4anything youre so far out of depth lmfao. e :)how are u calling Bernie an idiot yet saying his ideas are great ? bernie's ideas are part of a solid policitcal philosophy that has been around . He's not an idiot he's one of the best rated politicians in the country lmfao. You're sitting here blaming him for Hillary's loss but he brought in a lot of people who typically don't get involved in politics into the political process. He helped tons of people get elected and involved into local politics as well and I swear Hillary would've lost 1/3 if not more of her support if Bernie hadn't have run, or campaigned for her. Take a look at the cheers he got at the DNC the crowd there cheered for like two minutes straight before letting him speak. I think Bernie would've gotten more votes than Hillary because he was closer to what America wanted. A non establishment candidate on the side of the working class, and who didn't have A LOT of bull:) in his past. Tho the right wing media still could've demonized him like they did Clinton bc socialism is a dirty word I guessB. And let's be real. Bernies policies would've been only half as good as he campaigned on. But I think he would've inspired the kind of grass roots as well as local involvement we need to get things on a better track on state levels . Also whats so bad about america adopting policies that are like ones in other countries ? Just because another country does it doesn't make it bad. Ofc such policies would be implemented in a more American capitalistic way I'm sure lmfao also many policies such as free education and healthcare pay for themselves in a way because it saves a lot of money in other areas and also creates citizens more capable of creating capital imoAnyway u should use less paragraphs and what's with all the messy innacurate name calling ? If u really think Bernie and Nader are comparable ur silly. Also it sounds like u read propaganda about bernies gun policy stance instead of actual facts lol. Don't compare bernies people to the right wing extremists please I'm highly offended. U read too much propaganda about bernies bros which really isn't factual at all wyd. Bernie bros are a myth. I kept up with Hillary, trump, and bernies campaign and let me tell u Bernie by far had the most diverse support out of Hillary and trump combined. 1 Quote Instagram: pxpi_gringo

delreyfreak 5,342 Posted November 22, 2016 @@Cacciatore- I don't know how to block quote and then answer the answers to my statements To block quote you just press the "quote" button then erase all of the bits you don't want included anymore Bernie and his rabid fan club are no different than the religious right rabid fan club and the Ron Paul / Rand Paul and Trump fan club of absolute or nothing at all "Rabid"?? I don't see how his views are extreme at all. They are just common sense, progressive ideas. Nothing extreme about them. And to compare them to the religious right is ridiculous. The religious right have members that openly encourage conversion therapy for LGBT people and electroshock therapy, do not believe in freedom of religion and are discriminatory, sexist, homophobic and xenophobic. Bernie is none of these things. He has been fighting agains all of this. I don't see how that's extreme at all. Same old, same old? He is literally the most progressive American politician... doesn't sound very same old, same old to me. And he is just not in support of the male white worker -- if you follow his social media you will see that he has been posting non-stop since the election about how we must stand up for the Latinos, the Muslims, the African-Americans and all the other minorities who have been picked at by Trump's campaign.
