I don't know what to feel right now

Extremly whelmed by this performance tbh. I loved the energy, her fucking LOOK like from head to toe, the entrance/outro, the theatrics, dancers, background singers, but as usual her setlist is a choice (and a repetitive/underwhelming one except for the very few "surprises"). But my biggest issue was her voice/mic--what in sound engineering was going on here? 
 

Hoping these issues get fixed for Weekend 2.

pretty much the exact same as always but it was really worth the wait to see billie and lana sing on stage together!! hope she would’ve at least said something like my country album coming out later this year

I mean we are dedicated stans so for us it's repetitive but she played all her biggest songs and it made sense tbh

Definitely sounded quite nervous at the start but hopefully next week she will feel more comfortable

Honestly, best not to debut anything new during this mess.

 

To recap:

 

- Technical issues throughout

- Lip singing 

- Mid vocals 

- Forgetting the lyrics

- Shy

- Nervous

- Recycled set list

- Few songs with a pulse (AW, Summertime, AW)

- No Off to the Races, National Anthem, High by the Beach and other Coachella-ready hits

- 5 ballads in a row

- Sequencing that makes no sense

- Terrible outfit in the end

- Outshined by both Batiste and Billie

- No recent hits like Say Yes to Heaven

- No Lasso songs

- Crowd that's dead

- Minutes on end of quietness 

- You could hear her boots clank / pin drop.

- No crowd singing along with her

- She would turn the mic to the crowd and crickets

 

 

I mean, i guess we're lucky she didn't fall down.
