Guns and Roses is excellent.

ultraviolence is not excellent. 

For me, there is such a massive duality and variance in the 'percieved' 'meaning' of many of Lana's songs, as well as other artists too.
they can have such a dual and often opposite meaning to me..
 
like for example, my user name here.. could mean "hey Lizzy, lets escape baby.. ", or it can mean, lets escape this Lizzy girl.. ..
 
So the songs and the ambigious and often sardonic lyrics often represent 2 opposing meanings.. guess its whatever you want it to mean..

Seriously it's amazing. I fell in love with it on first listen, right from the first "I look for you in magazines." I LOVE songs with heavy repetition of certain verses, and Brite Lites is such a good example of that. It sounds so fckn incredible in that half-singsong, half-talking voice. And I love the beats. :flutter:"I'm going back to Arbor Dean, where when I was a beauty queen," sounds so fckn magical. What's with all the hate? I seriously don't get it
 
HOLY SHIT MAN you and I are on the same page!!!! Like exactly the same, wtf! I'M NOT ALONE!!! Paradise is seriously underappreciated and it is a masterpiece, an incredible work of art. I love Honeymoon since it's so similar.

- "I got you where I want you, you're deader than ever, I'm falling for forever." part of the Blackest Day. It is heartbreaking how deeply in denial she is in this line.
- "I'm electrified, I'll be up all night." For K Part 2--my favorite song of hers--basically the whole song tbh. Her voice sounds so amazing while she slurs out "electrified."
- "Flower motel nation" from 1949. IDK why, I just love it.
- "Oh, see, what you've done now. Oh, me, just what I'm talking about. Oh, see, what you've done now. Oh, me, just what I'm talkin' 'bout. What I'm talkin' about, what I'm talkin' about. I love this song because it's about GETTING AWAY W YOUR LOVER how could I not love it I am FREAKING HYSTERICAL OVER IT. her voice, the instruments, lyrics, SEND HELP!

tbh I liked it (especially more than UV mv ugh). But I just liked it. I thought she looked gorgeous (duh) and I liked the shots of the boys but that was really it. It was beautifully filmed though, i'll give it that.
 
I'm really hoping for a Ride-style video soon, with a long emotional monologue.  I would LOVE to see that for SWAN SONG. (please Lana answer my prayers OK xx)
