I really don’t think they knew what photo would be used for the song until the month they decided to release a song. But if I had to guess based off of what we know timeline wise, I would say Blue is BIOYL (ft. Stefflon) and the other White set is from White Mercedes. I don’t think CTMP was ever intended to be released alongside GNO and the others, but Taxi was a really high possibility. So I think the purple/pink set is for Taxi.

I have FROOT set up so that INHA follows Immortal, Saviour is subsequent to INHA, and True Colours is the album closer. I think the way the end of the song kinda sounds like an amp turning off or like the actual closing of the record makes it feel like an earned closing.

The Other Woman is the EPITOME of what makes Lana Del Rey a force in the world of music. Entirely unafraid to adopt a role that many may be afraid to identify with, but do. The vocals in this song sounding like it’s playing on an old ass radio/phonograph really establish the aesthetic that Lana is known for. Plus, how many young people nowadays would think to get into Nina Simone? This cover is what truly solidified my love for old jazz. Because it’s endlessly fluid. I can’t gush about this song enough for one post though, so I’m stopping here sorry but thinking about the fact that people can sit there with a serious face and say they don’t like that song. Like you’re entitled to your opinion but, baby, it’s so wrong.
