If I get a little prettier, can I be your baby? so resonant, that feeling of not being enough, not loving yourself enough to believe that anyone could really want you.

Hmmm, or perhaps this was why she was split between calling it white dress vs. waitress. In the end, she preferred white dress over waitress, so she had to change white hot forever to TJF to make the tracklist flow better Obviously this assumes that white dress was recorded after WHF (which we don't know, right?) In any case isnt it weird that she once liked WHF so much that it was the title track, and then she changed the title because another song came along which she thought was more deserving of the 'white'? This theory kinda suggests the whole vision/story of the album changed after white dress, that it became thematically more important than the previous title track. Didn't she also say that white dress was a pivotal moment in the album? I mean we also have paradise/UV/HM trailers... the tradition runs deep. I reckon she'll put something out

Honeymoon - Post-Release Discussion Thread + Poll

"Living in the land of Honeymoons and oil tycoons. God bless America, the land of pink champagne and purple rain. This is my favourite perspective / nothing but white sails above and blue waters rolling in front of me for miles and miles" I always wonder what this was. If they're lyrics, I sooo want to hear this elusive outtake. Otherwise, even if just some offhand prose she chucked out into the world, these lines encapsulate that signature soft violet languid opulent space that the whole album occupies so well -
Her insta story has made me so nostalgic... those were the goddamn days 2012-2014 never forget Lana is different now, just like all the world, and fair enough

Man Lana's Gatsby era was so amazing I think it's one of my favourite things she's done. It was more than a single song contributed to a film, it became a whole central element, she was fully absorbed into a world where she would absolutely exist in herself. Everything was perfect -
Remember when people thought she relinquished her thirst for glamour because of how bare bones a lot of the NFR era was. This is a real swinging in the backyard look

She would caption her pics with Lana lyrics often, songs like Hope and Is This Happiness, even unreleased ones like Fine China, and would engage with people in the comments that acknowledged she was referencing Lana. Happened more on her burner accounts like Majora When Hope came out I distinctly remember her reposting many of the lyrics onto her story Among other things, but as soon as QFTC happened she unfollowed her and has never mentioned her since

Random but does anyone else remember how heavy she used to stan Lana? She hopped off the train after question for the culture

That was sick and hilarious and very very pretty

Jeeeesus fuck... I'm floored. That was stunning front to back. Bare feet on linoleum was incredible, it really felt like a precursor to from behind the gates of an institution (i can't remember what the actual title is). Lovely lovely lovely And violet bent backwards over the grass? That 2 minutes blew me away. That one hit me in particular
