This is killing me, all the people on this poll are great. TrailerParkDarling, Neal, and Chloe have me in a tie at this point. They're so cool and nice, I just can't vote since they all deserve the vote.

I'd just cover myself in hundred dollar bills since nothing's more gorgeous than a hundred dollar bill, fact.

Nothing is, I love cheesy music as much as I love Lana's serious songs. But when I uploaded Big Bad Wolf to my YouTube channel, the comments were ridiculous and every other person was screaming that Lana had sold herself out to the industry and she's no longer a good singer or anything.

Friday the 13th and Nightmare on Elm Street were hard for me to watch. I liked Craven's early stuff, but Nightmare was just annoying. And Friday the 13th is extremely overrated.
Michael Myers and John Carpenter dominate all. Slasher gods. (Billy from Black Christmas rules though)

In the movie Lolita - Sue Lyon sings a track called "Lolita Ya Ya" and that's what the BTD version of Lolta reminds me of.

I like Lana Del Ray/Rey AKA Lizzy Grant so much more than Born to Die. I feel like Born to Die is very "packaged" with it's sound and presentation. AKA just feels so natural in many aspects, it just flows better. Born to Die on the other hand just sounds overproduced on a whole.

Started working on mine today, excited to edit it!

1. My friend sent me a video of "Born to Die" - played it, and I was like "wtf is this, boring." Over the next month I would always see ads for Lana Del Rey on the sidebars of YouTube videos and I assumed she was a boring and old mexican singer. Finally one day I decided to check out her videos again. I searched "Lana Del Rey" and one of the videos that came up was "Carmen." It looked cool, so I clicked it, and within seconds I knew this woman would be one of my favorite artists. The image of Felix Cane dropping down the pole while Lana sang, "Darlin' Darlin' doesn't have a problem.." was chilling. The whole home-movie video collage reminded me of a song I love called "John Wayne Gacy Jr." by an artist named Sufjan Stevens. "Carmen" is still my favorite song from Lana.

Also, the thing that shocks me is how nice these articles and comments were. Look at things now and it's like you're talking about two completely different people.

Howdy, I know I'm not in the position to talk, but I looked at Lana collage videos and it took me a while to figure out what I'd need to make one myself. All I use is iMovie and Google chrome + the YouTube downloader extension, easy as that. I don't use ANYTHING else except those 3 things to make my video. My first video to "Carmen" was a hot mess really, it just was all over the place with timing and the sandwiching in of Laura Palmer clips *shudders*, but nonetheless. I suggest since you have a few days, if you have a mac use iMovie, download Chrome if you don't have it already, and then search for the YouTube downloader extension - if you need any help finding it - just message me With the few days you have once you have that equipment, (note, if you don't have iMovie, I'm sure possibly Windows Movie Maker can work as well - or just illegally download Sony Vegas or Final Cut) practice cutting and pasting clips to the beats of the songs. I usually pay attention to what instrument is providing the strongest mood of the verse and cut and paste clips to the beat of that instrument and that way it flows the best. I'm really sorry if what I'm saying makes no sense. Also, I felt the same way for the last challenge, I have no photo editing skills whatsoever, so I found it nearly impossible to compete with these other people that post amazing covers in the Fan Art section. Also, I'm sure once all you start making the collage video, your videos will be better than mine
