I am really shocked there isn't more discussion about So I? An absolutely beautiful, if slightly gut-wrenching, tribute that deserves much more praise.

I love that she calls it a "club" album when really it's the "spiraling on molly in the bathroom at a club rethinking your life choices in the mirror" kind of club album. 

Bowen made the comparison but I think she acknowledges it later on.

The podcasters said it, not Charli. But they were talking about it in the very beginning and then brought it up again at the end and Charli said she agreed with the comparison.

I really loved the comparison on that podcast that Brat is like an updated XCX World. It truly is everything I’ve ever wanted. If she retired from music forever, I would be content knowing we have Brat in this world.

She mentioned a full remix album on La Culturistas. Wasn't total confirmation but definitely seems like it's in the works.
 
Also, the girl who started the brat deluxe leaked craze on twitter is the same girl who posted the video of Charli driving in her car blasting Von Dutch at the beginning of the promo cycle. Deluxe hasn't leaked but her team knows what they're doing

I played the 192 or w/e on some sick ass surround and even on it was absolutely amazing, I cannot wait for the 320/flac 😱. best album, no. Incredible, absolutely (I won't say which two are the most weird, out of place, trash tracks because it's the two y'all act like they aren't lmao)... You can't reason with Sucker white washers. but this album is being applauded everywhere that isn't LB, so get your shit together. and no, you aren't underground or brave for being haters vs literally every other music forum and shit 💀 (Jk I will, Girl and ITAIATT are fucking weird for this album, both. less so girl, barely)
 
Literally what the actual fuck was she thinking having ITAIATT on this vs Make U Mine. Ewwww. it sounds just as fucking shitty/like a literal demo as it always did. Also why did y'all ever think such a sad and desperate track should get released, LET ALONE be on this "club album" So I is actually beautiful, this is awful and always was, not sorry.

it's a grower for sure, i was really disappointed at first and there's some messy moments lyrically/melodically but after a few listens and some adjusted expectations i love it. i'm relieved i came around because i've been hoping for a 2009/2010 electropop myspace demos album from her for years and i needed this to round out my holy trinity of true romance and number 1 angel. the lack of features is great. i think my main issue was with the sequencing, it was very jarring but i moved a few songs around and it's a much more cohesive listen
