I'm just going to expect this to be a slowish/dreamy song about her getting high by the ocean with her bad boy boyfriend tbh, that way I won't be disappointed if I get my hopes up for a Florida Kilos kinda vibe or a song about anything surrealist or whatever? Hope I'm wrong of course, but I won't be too disappointed this way I guess

I couldn't even begin to think what the word was haha :') Also I would never have got the whole pirate romance novel reference until I read people on here mention it, but I love that idea! It seems very Lana to reference them, what with all the swooning women getting swept away by the big strong pirate who is as wild as the seas (I've never read one of them but that's the impression I get from their cover art of the books haha) very excited to see how the song lines up with the art, and even more excited to see the visuals on the music video too! I'm wondering how they'll match up with the clips from Honeymoon?

I just realised, in the cover shot her necklace is a little thingy that people use on boats! I'm not sure the English word, a kaukoputki, like you look through it and far away ships or land looks closer? Anyway, I just liked that little detail, I feel like a lot of effort has gone in to this so I'm looking forward to when we hear the song to see all the ways the cover art ties in with the lyrics and themes

The Weekend just tweeted the tracklist with Lana on it! I'm so glad! I quite like The Weekend and I'm sure the song with Lana will be good! Plus it'll help bring attention to her while she's got her own new album coming up

May I ask what Fine China and Yes To Heaven are? I keep seeing them crop up but I don't know why? I don't mean to try and discredit or argue with you by the way, I'm just curious about where these song titles have come from because I keep seeing them but can't remember where they came from! That 'musicsrebellion' Twitter has claimed the preorder will be on iTunes on Wednesday, highly unlikely... However they also claim Frank Ocean's new album will drop tomorrow so if his album DOES drop tomorrow then I'll maybe consider getting hype? But until then I'm like 100% sure that account is fake as fuck...

I was thinking maybe Lana did perform those songs live to add some more 'upbeat' stuff into her shows in preparation for Honeymoon? Like if Honeymoon has some songs in a similar style to Serial Killer or You Can Be The Boss then maybe that's why she played those ones live? This song makes me feel like the prom scene in Carrie before the blood (the Sissy Spacek version, not the new one) where there's soft and glossy glamour and everything is beautiful and glistening but there's a sense of dread creeping in, it's dreamy but there's an insidious feeling of something dark lurking just beneath the glossy surface! Oh it's such a wonderful song, it really takes me away when I close my eyes

"Muddy trap energy" makes me think of like when you hear a beat through a wall and it's kind of thick and muted? Like standing outside a nightclub or bar? Haha I'm probably way off, Lana likes to make little phrases for her sounds and they usually fit well, so I'm excited to see what she means by this term

This is so hauntingly beautiful and mesmerising! I would of loved if the video had been like a loop of the opening clips like the first West Coast one was though, I love the aesthetic of her by the road with flowers in her hair like she's having a picknick (however you spell that). I love the bridge, and I love the way she sings "dark blue" and "dreaming your life away"! This has got me so so so hyped for the album

I wonder if those "glass slippers" she mentioned on the honeymoon Instagram post are going to be in the video? She said the guy was holding them on the "vid shoot" so maybe she's wearing them or something?

It sounds like a song you'd find a girl singing alone on stage of a hazy bar in a David Lynch movie I think? Sounds pretty so far, I think maybe it could be haunting with the 'empty' sound of music, I can't quite explain properly, but yeah, it sounds like it will be hauntingly pretty to listen to

I'm optimistic about this, I quite like the lyrics they sound lovely and I imagine the chorus might not be too bad when sung with music! And perhaps the other songs will have better choruses? I do hope we get some bigger choruses
