How have I only just discovered this song!! It's one of my all time favourites of her upbeat songs tbh! Lovely song to play at a summer party!

This is probably my favourite song from Ultraviolence!! It's spine chillingly beautiful in a desolate, empty way! The lyrics are so beautiful and the repetition in the chorus adds to that feeling, it doesn't feel overdone at all! This song is ethereal, there are no other words for it!

This is a wonderful end to the album! I love Florida Kilos so much but it's not so much an album ender if you know what I mean? This song though, oh it's a perfect ending to this album!!

I think her opinion is valid here considering it's her father that was being discussed... And so what if she's only 'famous' for her parents? It's not as if she's tryingn to cash in on that at all, all she was trying to do was speak out against what she thought was yet another person romanticising her fathers death! Her opinion is probably the most valid one in this entire 'drama' (and it's ridiculous that there even is 'drama' over this tbh) and her opinion is certainly way more valid than anyone on this forum.

I don't understand why Pretty When You Cry is explicit? Is it because she mentions drugs once? There are other songs that mention drugs and aren't explicit, like Florida Kilos (the whole song is basically about partying while doing cocaine?) Seems strange to me :s

Aw I just presumed they were because of all the posts in other lyric posts about the 'official boxset lyrics' or something like that? Guns and Roses has really grown on me tbh! Sure, the chorus is lyrically weak but I think her vocals and the music is really pretty to listen to! I quite like it now after a few listens! Also, I really really hope she performs Florida Kilos live at some point!! Ugh I love that song so much and I bet it would be an experience to see her perform it live!

Would someone mind explaining what Alleluia means? Is it like hallelujah? Because that's what I heard at first so I wondered if maybe it was the American spelling of the word?

Definitely hear "gold skin" as opposed to "go ski", plus it did with her previous references to gold skin on guys? Sticking with my "sell the kilos on the Keys" line because it makes sense in context (as in the Florida Keys not door keys or anything?)

Florida Kilos and Sad Girl are the only tracks I've listened too so far and omg they are both so amazing! Florida Kilos is everything I hoped it would be from first hearing that title! So happy with it and can't wait for the album to finally be in my hands!

The first snipped of Fucked My Way Up To The Top made it sound like a really beautiful song about sex, the second snippet makes it sound like a diss track, pehaps the entire song will be a mix of both so it won't be like a whole rant against this other person, more of a balance if you understand my meaning?

I've just noticed that on the song Ultraviolence towards the end you can hear her faintly sing the line "lay me down tonight" from FMWUTTT!!

Sad Girl, Old Money, Fucked My Way Up To The Top and Florida Kilos have me soo excited at the moment!! I have a feeling that the Money Power Glory chorus will be pretty cool as well, and of course I can't judge Cruel World at all, it sounds really atmospheric but I'm SO hyped to hear the chorus after Lana's description!

Does anyone have transcripts for the lyrics in the snippets? It's be very interesting to collect them together I did my best with the Florida Kilos lyrics in my previous post, I'll do some more but if anyone else wants to have a go it'd help
