Wow... this thread was wild... definitely giving me pre-Honeymoon flashbacks! Not going to lie though, I've really missed the messes? (Not the porn/scat/trolls) but I love the atmosphere leading up to a new album, like everyone coming together to discuss tiny amounts of info, and everyone coming up with wild theories, it's really enjoyable! I've not really been active here for a while, but I've really missed this place and all of you! Here's to another iconic messy beginning of an era! (I hope this does not read as sarcastic, I genuinely love you people!)

I would love her to cover 'Kiss Of Fire'! Every time I hear the Georgia Gibbs version of the song I think of how Lana could make a really lovely cover!

I honestly just think it's just a character song like 'Carmen'? Maybe some self-referential bits but I really don't think it's about a real person, certainly not Azealia Banks? I've read why people think it's her and it's honestly not making sense to me, it feels like a total reach

I love how that throbbing sound in Art Deco can be heard in the music for The Blackest Day! Also, I grew to like the cover but after having heard the full album I really cannot connect the music with the artwork? The songs on Honeymoon feel darker than the artwork would suggest? I think of Lana at night on the cover would of worked better?

There's not a single song I would skip on this album! Even DLMBM, I know not everyone's crazy about it but I personally really enjoy it and think it works well as an album closer! I really love Burnt Norton too, it's lovely to hear her speaking voice so eloquently reading that poem and the backing track is so interesting! There's not a single track I would skip on this album, everything is just so pleasing to listen to! The album is absolutely consuming me and I love it!

I so wanted to be swept away with Salvatore and I'm just so happy that the song had that effect with me! I expected a romantic ballad but the beauty of this song has blown me away, I'm absolutely enchanted with it Also the voices at the beginning and what kinda sounds like a man wailing are just so theatrical and interesting!

I think perhaps after "dying by the hand of a foreign man" it may be "happily" instead of "I believe"?

the Pale Fire shoot is soo beautiful! I can definitely see it fitting in with MTWBT but I'm not sure how it'll relate to the models doing sports? Perhaps it'll be something conceptual or like a dream or something, I don't know... (Side note: I changed my avi and sig finally, so I guess some people here wont be creeped out by it anymore haha also don't hate me for loving the Tropico visuals...)

I've been listening and I definitely hear: Shining like gun metal Cold and unsure As opposed to: Shining like a medal Gold on the shore I've tried both while listening and it just really sounds like "gun metal" and "cold and unsure"

Definitely agree that 24 has the Bond theme vibe! It's very suave and I can so imagine like silhouttes of men in suits and guns and dancing women while the song plays! And also, definitely feel like Art Deco is a continuation in some way of Carmen, someone else mentioned this before but I can't remember who, but I really feel echoes of Carmen in Art Deco (as in the character not the sound)

I don't know why but I really love the "screw your anonymity" line! Maybe it's the way she sings it, it just is so pleasing to hear for me

I'm so so so in love with Salvatore! I really wanted this song to be beautiful because that name is beautiful (IMO) and I was just taken away with it as soon as I heard the song even in LQ! It's so romantic and dreamy! I don't even know what this song will do to me in HQ when the album is out!
