She’s been going viral over her Beyoncé comments, tbh it kinda pisses me off that you can’t say anything about her without being labelled a “racist”- I listened to cowboy carter and found it bland with some nice harmonious vocal layers. Lily definitely was right that some of the album campaign felt unnecessary and too calculated e.g. the overly blonde hair and the cowboy outfits- it feels more like her image is country than the music itself

Also loving that her vocals are really layered in these tracks which is something she hasn’t done in years- like there’s dozens of layers in club classics and this is why the auto tune used to p*ss me off because she stopped layering- weirdly she’s now layering with the tuned layers and it works great

Im shocked at the online responses to these songs tbh but also not because I love both b2b and club classics and my opinions are generally divisive - like some are saying the album is ruined for them which is interesting. honestly excited for brat now.

Is she djing on the arena dates or is it a full tour? I’m obv guessing no Choreo which I’m fine with because it wouldn’t make sense

slightly shocking take but both b2b and club classics are miles ahead of the other single-they genuinely embody the rave concept so idky dutch was the lead

So sticky isn’t on the album? If it’s 17 tracks I’ll just scrap vinyl Dutch for my listening

It looks kind of red bubblish but it’s not bad- I like the v neck on the hoodie

I think they were just commenting on how good the song was to them based on the live performance so I’m going to cautiously defend them here….but it’s always a tricky one to rate songs especially when there’s too much personal history and hurt behind a track, I don’t think the perceived meanness was intentional.

Well I was hoping for auburn but I know she’ll go back to some variation of dark brown or medium brown with subtle red highlights at some point Guess it’s just for the country aesthetic

she’d have to make something more artistic and less two word rhymes over dance rhythms. The Grammys don’t like this sort of music unless it has vocals, massive impact or an outstanding overall product ( toxic).
