Wait, did the record really sell that bad and still manage to debut at number one? I mean, that would actually be kinda impressive LOL. Anyway, I think the problem with that tour is that a) they booked venues that are way too big and b) there were/are tours by much more successful artists like Beyoncé or Rihanna at the same time; it's not 2004 - 2007 anymore. Still, TIWTTFL is the best album of 2016.

Blue Jeans for me. Back in 2011, when Video Games came out, I didn't really care about Lana (in fact, I even found her kinda annoying because Video Games was on the radio way too often and I didn't like it at that time). Then I pretty much forgot about her until mid-2012, when Summertime Sadness became a radio hit and I liked it quite a lot, so I decided to give Lana another chance. Listened to Blue Jeans, fell in love with it, fell in love with the rest of the album and fell in love with Lana. Since then, she's my favorite singer.

I'm a bit torn because on the one hand, I think some of her best songs so far are from Honeymoon ("The Blackest Day", "High By The Beach", "Music To Watch Boys To", "Swan Song"), however I can't stand "Salvatore", "Freak" isn't exactly a masterpiece either and "Burnt Norton" is just... weird, and pretty useless IMO. Also, I don't want her next album to sound the same; but I still love Honeymoon for what it is, so: Happy Birthday, Honeymoon!

Hi everyone, soo since many people here like to talk about famous and, well, not so famous artists besides Lana, I thought I'd introduce you to Oliver Céleste, a 22-year-old alt-pop singer from England who's pretty amazing. In addition to his original music – that is written and produced by himself –, he uploads covers of (more or less) popular songs on his YouTube channel. In fact, I "discovered" him when I was checking YouTube for a potential video of Lana performing "The Blackest Day" (turns out she still has not performed it live till today), but instead I found this video of him covering it: "The Blackest Day" – Lana Del Rey cover (He also covered "Religion", "Ride", "High By The Beach", "Music To Watch Boys To", "Black Beauty", as well as songs by Beyoncé, Troye Sivan, Rihanna, Adele, Allie X and many more.) Fascinated by his voice, I checked out his original music and became a fan immediately. His debut single "Bones" actually became one of my favorite songs of all time, I just love everything about it. His debut EP "Sunken Bodies" (2014) includes "Bones" and three other songs. "Bones" In 2015, he released his first album "XY". The single "Famous In LA" is quite a bop, "2 In The Morning" is one of those sad songs I love so much, and the video is stunning. Also, check out "Gasoline" on Spotify, unfortunately there's no music video for it. Or, even better, buy the whole album. "Famous In LA" "2 in The Morning" "Chasing Your Love" Earlier this year, his EP "Lessons From California" came out. It has quite a different sound, but it's awesome nevertheless.
