I still find it weird that there wasn't more promo for Ride. It was never played on the radio (unless you would call and ask them to play it), even though it could've become another Summertime Sadness or Video Games, IMO. Dark Paradise (which was released as a single about five months after Ride), on the other hand, did get quite some airplay. But since then... no Lana on the radio whatsoever.

IMO, they even chose the right songs to be singles, if she had done some promo: West Coast (Dan Auerbach mix or radio mix, depending on the radio station and their respective target group), and shorter, more upbeat versions of Brooklyn Baby, High By The Beach and maybe even Music To Watch Boys To could all have been successful singles. But I'm afraid that due to the fact that she has not had a radio hit since Summertime Sadness (which was 2012; or 2013 if you're talking about that horrible remix they released outside of Europe), it might be very hard for her to ever have an actual hit again, even if it were a radio-friendly song in the vein of Summertime Sadness. Many people probably forgot about her in the meantime and at this point, I honestly don't see her doing promo again and getting airplay. But obviously, I'd be happy to be proven wrong.

Really? Well, I mean, it's not bad or anything, but there are a couple songs on Honeymoon I'll take over Freak at any time. But yeah, you're right, at this point it's really hard to pick only one song to revive. I'll probably end up voting for MTWBT.

Just found this: Interscope's late 2000s deals were pretty standard at four or five LPs and usually at least one EP. We don't have all the details of Lana's contract, but I expect she's either one or two albums away from finished with the first Interscope contract. That's only speculation and no confirmed information, of course.

Lol I just had this weird thought: What if she scraps whatever she has recorded, we'll get a low-quality iPhone video instead and if she's running out of ideas in the future, she might use the scrapped footage for a LDR6 music video. Oh wait...
