  1. Both, actually. Miyamoto "accidentally" mentioned a new Pikmin game years ago, way before the Switch was even announced, but there hasn't been any kind of news in a really long time, so nobody really knows what's up with that one. It might have just been shelved. As for Metroid Prime 4, it was originally announced in 2017, but last year they said that the game didn't meet Nintendo's standards and that development would start all over again, this time under Retro Studios. And just recently, they tweeted this, so that game isn't coming anytime soon.
  2. Love how we were discussing a potential Skyward Sword remake just on the previous page lol. Always ahead of our time! As I said before, I'm not sure how exactly they would be able to remove the Wii Motion Plus functionality without changing the nature of the game too much, since the whole game was pretty much built around these kind of controls. Obviously it would work with the regular Switch and Joy-Cons, but I can't imagine Nintendo being okay with a system seller like Zelda being unplayable on the Switch Lite. Generally speaking, I'd love a "second chance" for Skyward Sword, it's a brilliant game and gets way too much criticism, plus experiencing it in HD would definitely be a reason for me to buy it again too. But for the reasons mentioned above, I somewhat expected the Wii U remakes of The Wind Waker and Twilight Princess to be ported first – in fact, now that they're porting Pikmin 3 to the Switch, I think the Zelda remakes and Super Mario 3D World are pretty much the only major Wii U exclusives left. And I'm sure that at least 3D World will inevitability get a port. And also, I'm a bit worried about the lack of new first (and second) party games from Nintendo. Like, BotW 2 is announced, but still at least a year away; we haven't heard anything new about Bayonetta in like forever; Metroid seems to be even further away than BotW 2, at this point I'm expecting it to be released at the very end of the Switch's life circle (like Skyward Sword was the last major Wii game, and BotW the last Wii U and simultaneously first Switch game). They're heavily relying on ports and remakes right now (there's still some kind of Metroid Prime Trilogy and a 3D Mario collection (?) waiting to be officially announced, too), which obviously is great for people who haven't played them on the Wii U, but kinda sucks for those who did. It definitely feels like there's a bit of an imbalance between new games and remakes/ports right now.
  3. You can actually just open the drop-down menu underneath the search bar and switch from "Content search" to "Member search". (At least on mobile, can't check desktop right now.)
  4. OMG looks like all the old likes are back! Great work @Elle!
  5. SIX YEARS! This is madness... Happy Little Pill still slaps TBH.
  6. Cape God is fantastic and everything, but nothing will ever take the special place that CollXtion I has in my heart. The opera vocals, the quirky production that sounds classic and futuristic at the same time, the medicine-inspired songwriting, the minimalistic (but very consistent and elegant) chic of the visuals... Truly the perfect introduction to the World of X.
  7. So after the US bombed the entire Middle East, destroyed whole countries, and killed thousands and thousands of people there, which by the way also led to the refugee crisis (that mostly Europe and obviously Middle-Eastern countries had to deal with, and not the US), got involved in the inner political affairs of sovereign countries (Venezuela for example, as well as the EUROPEAN Nordstream pipeline that y'all have a problem with), and is now more or less openly trying to destroy the European Union by creating conflict among the member states, you are surprised that people from all over the world frightenedly look at the upcoming US election, worried that it's gonna be even worse than the 2016 shitshow? PLEASE get a grip!
  8. Yeah me neither, Mystery Dungeon is the only Pokémon game I have for my Switch so far (and I love it <3). The DLC for Sword/Shield looks more promising than the base game though, but I'm going to wait until the second DLC pack is out so I can decide if it's really worth it. I mean, around € 60 + another € 30 is a LOT!
  9. Okay one random little thing that bugs me a bit... So when you quote an (older) post, it always says "On X/X/20XX member XY said:" But the date format is now M/D/YYYY, which I'm pretty sure wasn't the case before the update. No shade to American Lipsters, but could we please go back to the date format that the rest of the world uses and that actually makes sense (smallest unit -> biggest unit)?
  10. It'd be cool if clicking on a thread would take you directly to the first unread post. The "show first unread" feature seems to be gone, and it's rather annoying to always end up on the first page of a thread lol.
  11. I was thinking the same thing skskskskks I feel like a criminal, I'm kinda into it. Thanks for the update @Elle, this all seems really cool and exciting! Feels like we went straight from 1999 to 2099, I love it!

Issa bop! And wow, Madonna sounds incredible, and Missy's verse is fire! This being said, the production isn't quite what I was hoping für. I get that it's a club remix, but it's just too monotonous for me, and more importantly, it sort of strips Levitating of the fun and energetic vibe that made it my favourite Future Nostalgia track in the first place. But thankfully the fans have already been working hard:
  13. OMG comrades, this might be our chance to get Lana to record the Communist Manifesto for us! We winning!
  14. Not sure, but like, I could see Trump saying stuff like that LMAO:
  15. If you "studied the Presidents" as well as you studied European history when you tried to explain to us how Serbia "became independent" from Yugoslavia in the Dua Lipa thread, then good luck bookin' that school u speak of.

  17. It's not exactly a competition, and obviously Russia and China aren't smelling of roses either, but yes, I think it's safe to say the US has more blood on its hands than Russia, or any other country on this planet for that matter. Maybe y'all should stop "bringing democracy" to Middle Eastern countries if you're never willing to deal with the consequences? And like, I'm not telling you to feel personally guilty or responsible for what your politicians did over the years, but it's disheartening to see how y'all Americans are being spoon-fed imperialist and reactionary "America first!" propaganda (and have been since way before Trump BTW) and don't even realise it. That lack of awareness that maybe things aren't as black and white as your politicians tell you, that maybe y'all aren't the "good guys", is deeply concerning. It's like you're unwilling to take a step back and look at things from a neutral perspective, but at the same time simply can't NOT get involved in everyone else's business. Like... the US has been meddling with Iran and systematically destabilised the country since 1953, and literally as recently as January 2020, the US murdered an Iranian military official out of the blue. Again: the US murdered an official representative of a sovereign state, unprovoked. Obviously it was framed as a "necessary airstrike", but imagine somebody killing the US Secretary of State just like that; and getting away with it. I'm pretty sure it would be seen as an act of terrorism, but what do I know? And let's not forget what happened in Vietnam, Korea, Iraq, Afghanistan, Yemen, Syria etc., especially the war crimes in Iran and Afghanistan, but apparently it's easier to go after Chelsea Manning and Julian Assange, who brought those crimes to light, than to deal with the actual criminals. Yeah, I'm not gonna comment on that last bit. If you don't realise how ridiculous you sound in your blind American fanaticism, there really is no point in arguing with you.
  18. Right... Like it wasn't mainly the US that has destabilised and essentially destroyed the entire Middle East.

Agreed. I'm still utterly SHOOK that her team are getting everything so perfectly right, especially considering the global circumstances and also keeping in mind how things were going up until New Rules finally smashed. As for Future Nostalgia, I know it's too early to say that, but I can really imagine people referencing this era for years to come, and I don't think comparisons with the likes of Confessions On A Dance Floor, Love. Angel. Music. Baby., Fever, The Fame (Monster) etc. are too far-fetched. This whole era really is a masterclass in how it's done.

Is it weird that I kinda don't want any new tracks on the remix album? Like, knowing that the deluxe edition is coming sooner or later, I'd rather have the remix album really just focus on remixes of the original album and nothing else, and then use the deluxe edition for extra tracks and outtakes. Also, I still can't quite process that my three favourite female artists of all time (assuming Kylie is indeed on it) aside from Lana are going to be on ONE album alongside the new Pop Princess, Dua Lipa. Legendaric etc.

Definitely, although it's obviously cropped in order not to reveal all artists yet. Well yes. Club Future Nostalgia: The Remix Album cumming on 28 August, deluxe edition/re-release late 2020/early 2021.
