Yessss her best album! Make sure you listen to the B-sides Kabul Shit and Fag Hag as well!

The way we all fell for those fake DMs because attacking fans would lowkey be right down Lana's alley.
-
If people talked shit about me and my mental state in a Twitter group chat, I'd probably tell them to go fuck themselves too.
-
Looks like Lana was right about those group chat gays not actually being fans.
-
How is she even able to keep posting/commenting stuff on social media? You'd think that after yesterday's Instagram post and the shitstorm that came with it her managers would've made sure she'd either sit this out or properly explain herself; not go crazy and tell fans to fuck themselves in a damn group chat! This is all so fucked up.

The way she just casually sprinkled in that bit about her second book, like "Nobody asked for it, but this is the title pre-order now! xxx" I can't with her sksksksksks.

A winning today!

In addition to the blue & white splattered UO-exclusive Clarity vinyl, there's now also a picture disc up for preorder on Amazon.com (that should soon be available elsewhere too, including European stores).

Sis you need to learn how to read. The destroyed plant that was discussed earlier only affects lacquer discs – these are needed for the masters before something can go in mass production, and that was apparently one of only two plants that produced those. And while this, as I mentioned earlier, might still cause a delay in production (it happened almost half a year ago, though, and I haven't noticed that much of a delay), it has nothing to do with producing the actual vinyl records. Also, according to the article that was linked above, there are alternative ways of pressing records that don't even require those lacquer discs. This being said, there definitely is a shortage of vinyl pressing plants, which is why so many artists release the vinyl versions of their albums weeks or even months after the initial release date. From what I know, this is because most pressing companies shut down in the late 90s/early 2000s when people stopped buying vinyl and it simply wasn't a profitable business anymore. Then in the early/mid-2010s, vinyl suddenly became popular again, but there simply weren't enough producers left to fulfill the demand. The main issue seems to be that those vinyl pressing machines are super expensive and complicated to build in the first place; in fact, pretty much all of today's vinyl records are produced by machines from the 80s. However, as popular as it is again, in the big picture vinyl is still very much a niche format, which is why people in the industry as well as record labels themselves are hesitant to invest in new machines/pressing plants. That's why the manufacturers that are left are always fully booked, which is why it takes approximately three months to get something on vinyl right now. Here's a pretty interesting article about this, by the way: https://pitchfork.com/thepitch/363-why-arent-there-more-vinyl-pressing-plants/

This only affects lacquer discs, not the actual production of vinyl records. While it might still cause a delay in production (doesn't seem like it as of now, though), there's no way record labels will stop selling vinyl, considering it's literally like printing money for them. And vinyl releases being expensive and to a degree limited in quantity is already the reality, it's been this way for years now, way before that production facility was destroyed. Vinyl is a luxury product, after all.

Time to revive this thread. I put on the Breath of the Wild soundtrack earlier (really glad I got the CD) and felt like sharing this gorgeous version of Zora's Domain:

The way she's finally serving for the first time this era. Now lemme pretend that S***** L*** never happened and pray that Rain On Me is the future classic we all want and deserve.

It depends on how you look at it. Marina has demonstrated (in her older work, anyway) that she can be a brilliant writer, plus she has a great voice; Charli mainly excels in the area of production and just the will to experiment in her music. However, looking at their most recent albums (Love + Fear and How I'm Feeling Now) and comparing them, to me it's obvious which one is more interesting (trying to avoid the word "better" since that's never really objective).

Okay you know I love you and usually agree with pretty much everything you post, but... have you listened to her new album? Or anything she's released since Vroom Vroom, really? Obviously it's a matter of preference whether one enjoys that type of pop, but I definitely wouldn't call it mainstream or basic; that's a description that's reserved for Clean Bandit and certain acts associated with them.

I still find that middle section of Froot (Gold – Can't Pin Me Down – Solitaire – Better Than That) really tiring to listen to, especially after the flawless previous tracks.

The way you went from being one of the few Lice + Fleas stans on here to going all I_dont_know_her.gif at her, we love some iconic character development!

I still want an album of sad disco bops produced by Giorgio Moroder.
