Same, it really reminded me of the more rock- and punk-influenced pop music that artists like Pink, Kelly Clarkson, Avril Lavigne etc. made back then!

Well yes, but the whole point of a music video is to turn the song into a hit. Releasing a music video will result in the song having a better shot at smashing. Besides, both Independent Woman and Feel Good Time from the first two Charlie's Angels movies got music videos (albeit cheap ones lol). (I will, but for now I'm trying to get my account back. I don't wanna make a new one because this one has Kim Petras and Sophie Anderson following me. )

Why wouldn't there be a music video just because it's part of a soundtrack? Also, artists who aren't managed by complete twats (like our good sis) usually shoot videos and other visuals before the respective song is released, so considering that Ari is involved, I guess it's safe to say the video (if there is one) was shot already and is ready to be put out.

I wouldn't be surprised if her label decided to put it on the record in order to have one "hit" on it as an incentive for more casual (potential) buyers and, even more importantly, so that the streams of Doin' Time count towards the album. They'd probably tag it on as track 14 (assuming the "main album" consists of 13 tracks) and call it a bonus track, which is a practice that's not exactly unheard of (Lily Allen and Ariana Grande come to mind).

Agreed, I actually genuinely enjoy her poetry, or at least what she's shared so far. Still, what I'm most excited about is, of course, |||.

You can put 20 songs on a record and still make it cohesive. These two are not mutually exclusive.

Madame X is... a number one album! It's what she deserves! Also, I can't wait to see the God Control music video, the teasers all look amazing.

The show was great, the atmosphere was really good and I particularly enjoyed Venice Bitch and the live debut of Doin' Time. Also, I had the most amazing time meeting all my fellow Lipsters again, and wow, Lana actually served a look! However, the fact that she keeps playing those one-hour shows, plus simply not singing parts of songs or even shortening them altogether is disappointing, especially if you keep in mind how much she charges for GA tickets. With pretty much any other artist, you get more for your money. But it's Lana...
