I had to read this paragraph five times because I thought there's no way you could have actually typed this out, read through it once again and said, "Yeah that sounds good, I'll post it :)". It is SO INCREDIBLY stupid and disrespectful to compare the lives of the poor people in North Korea, which just so happens to be a DICTATORSHIP, who are starving, who cannot freely voice their opinion, who are being killed if they dare to disagree with their "great leader" or try to escape to South Korea etc., to a rich, privileged, straight white cis-woman's CHOICE (!) to go to (and therefore support) a homophobic and misogynistic megachurch. PLEASE educate yourself on this matter! You know, if you have homophobes, misogynists, extreme conservatives and any other kinds of assholes disagreeing with you, that's usually a sign that you are doing something RIGHT. Then she should've started a knitting club or opened a matcha bar instead of joining an openly homophobic church. This x 100! My respect for somebody's views (religious, political, philosophical, whatever) ends as soon as those views disrespect someone else's (particularly a marginalised, suppressed group's) existence.

This tea TBH! Obviously I still wanna hear NFR when if it finally ever comes out, but at this point I've accepted the fact that she'll never be able to top albums like Born To Die or Ultraviolence anyway. Kdsflnslfnd can you IMAGINE?

People are saying that it sounds like an album track, so I decided that I won't listen to it until the album is out. I'll just keep bopping to Do Me for now.

Speaking of which, I hope there won't be too many legendaries this time. The two cover legendaries, a third one for the postgame and perhaps a trio akin to the Legendary Birds and Legendary Beasts would be more than enough, plus there's no way there won't be at least two new Mythical Pokémon distributed at Nintendo events. I know this already started back in generation 4, but back then it wasn't that much of an issue because they all got their lore and it worked well alongside the focus that was put on mythology in the Sinnoh region. But then they did it again in generation 5 and generation 7 and it's just annoying at this point. It's just pointless to have like one third of the Pokémon newly introduced in a game to be legendaries.

Everything looks really cool, especially the open world aspect and the fact that Pokémon can be seen in the wild again, I'm really excited about that. I'm not a big fan of the Dynamax thing, though. They should've just sticked with Mega Evolution and regional forms and fleshed those out instead of introducing yet another new concept they'll abandon in two years.

Rant incoming: I've been a hardcore stan since 2012, loved the vast majority of her output, defended her when she said questionable things about feminism and whatnot, and continuously supported her throughout these years. However, at this point I'm just really disappointed in her, and it has nothing to do with the quality of her music declining. As an artist, she relies on her fans buying/streaming her music and spending their money on concert tickets and merchandise, otherwise she wouldn't be able to afford multiple houses and maintain the kind of expensive lifestyle she seems to enjoy. She announced that she would be releasing an album "at the top of the year" – well it's June now and there's no album, not even a release date, and we also never got any sort of explanation or update aside from an ambiguous statement on her personal Twitter account and some bitchy comments from one of her managers, leaving us all completely in the dark. And to make matters even worse, she actually managed to affiliate herself with an openly anti-LGBTQ, misogynistic megachurch despite being aware of her huge queer following. Isn't that a punch in the face? Yes, delayed releases are somewhat common in the music industry. Yes, other artists make fauxpas too, surround themselves with the wrong people and say stupid shit every now and then. But for me at least, this ongoing ignorance, lack of communication, and overall just disrespectful behaviour towards the fans is quite unheard of, and I can't think of any other artists treating the people who made them big this way. It's true, of course, technically Lana doesn't owe us anything. But likewise, we don't owe her anything either. I've loved her music for years, and I still do and want to continue supporting her, but I honestly don't know how much longer I can keep doing that. Stream Gimme by Banks and pray to Yosemite.

Remember when everybody thought the album was coming soon after 1999?

Fair enough, but don't you think it's too early to say he'll add "nothing" to the song before you've even heard it? And I would argue that he didn't add any less to 1999 than the majority of the people Charli collaborated with added to their respective songs.
