why not do a new shoot?? ik there’s a pandemic but that never stopped rich people before... it’d be nice to get a whole new outfit/setting. it always kinda bothered me that we only got one look from this like the lack of variety comes off as uninspired or rushed/low budget when that’s totally not the case

I always wonder if she looks at which songs get the most streams/which ones have a cultural impact, and how it affects her?? Especially the ones she “waited” to release, like you said.. It must feel nice to be validated by them doing well, but I wonder how much it influences her next project, if it does at all. It’s not like she’s the type to try and keep up a trend if it brings her success, but I wonder if it encourages her to include a song that maybe she wasn’t too sure about. I didn’t even think that it might be frustrating to see your newer songs not faring as well.. I hope someone asks her about this subject in the future, it would be interesting to know how she feels

I genuinely cannot believe what I just read like I’m literally struggling to comprehend how anyone would’ve thought that was okay….even if they were asked to leave before they could see her, I’m sure she was aware. I’m currently dealing with grief myself and having some semblance of what Lana is experiencing I genuinely cannot imagine how upsetting this would be, at a time when you’re so drained and vulnerable and just trying to hold onto “normal” as best you can… I’m just speechless. How do you consider yourself a stan when you so blatantly disrespect her……? Maybe I’m projecting a lil and overreacting but gosh it makes me so mad that people would do this to her

I didn’t interpret it to mean they were working on music together BUT they have worked together in the past and if Lana wanted to do her hip hop girl group album it makes complete sense for her to ask Emile back and it seemed like Mike really wanted to do more work with Lana after WFWF and there was something about a possible collab w Kali it’s all coming together………

I wish she never changed WHF to Chemtrails, and kept the ranch/nature aesthetic over the “opulent” cover art and title that really is only there for one song… I know she had a lot of controversy and “White Hot Forever” would have been misinterpreted to hell and back but it really fits the album so much more. If she never posted her QFTC maybe we could’ve gotten this but it’s all a part of her journey I guess. Looking For America would have fit perfectly on WHF too

I love love love beautiful for what it means to her (and her voice and the twinkly piano are obviously beautiful too) but I agree it could have been fluffed up a little more before going on the album cuz rn it kinda sounds like it’s from a musical which is not really my vibe BUT hear me out: I think we’d enjoy it more if we didn’t get it on the album but perhaps Lana surprise dropped it w/ a simple heartfelt homemade video a la HIADT on the uhauljoe channel or one of her inactive twitters (and it doesn’t go on streaming bc it’s not officially “released”, just something she wanted to share).. it could have clips of her painting, typing on her little typewriter, writing in a diary, scrolling thru her social media mentions and sipping coffee, working in the studio etc, just to really highlight her POV.. tbh now that I think about it it kinda feels like a distant relative of Hope, maybe she could even splice some quick clips from that video in there too like her manically running around the house.. lol now I want this video why did I do this to myself

I can’t tell if I dreamed this or if it was real but does anyone remember an interview where she talked about a movie(?) idea she had about an aspiring young starlet who goes crazy in her home or it’s haunted or something… that sounds like such a self insert for her lol basically the hope video she dropped on uhauljoe anyways when I google it all that comes up is a James Franco interview from 2015 where he mentions the idea briefly, but for some reason I remember it in a video interview maybe around 2012 when asked if she wanted to try dabbling in acting or something..? I might’ve hallucinated this tho.. also sorry if this is too off track for the thread but I just thought of it lol
