I completely agree with you. These artists make music because they're passionate and care deeply for what they produce. Bieber, 1D... they are just cash machine for their label, they can't write or compose a song to save their live. All these listed above are entertainers, they're not artist to me, they don't have artistic soul.

Actually, her category was filled with great ones: Jack White, Florence + Machine, The Black Keys & Arctic Monkeys. It makes the victory sweeter I guess.

Like Matt said, the EMA/VAM are based on popularity and public vote. They wanted Florence + the Machine to win? They should have voted more. That's it. Plus I really don't get why they're pissed, it's not like it's a big loss, and F+M have all the critics in her pocket. Everybody agrees that she's talented, have an amazing voice and song writing skills... which is not the case for Lana yet.

Pixie Lott, Bieber, Bruno Mars, Jepsen... From that I can say that a push is someone famous for a period of time, and then POOF! they disappear.

I can't wait to see what she's going to pull out next. Can you actually go from dark brown to blond without ending with green hair or no hair at all? I'd also like to see her natural hair color (I still don't know what it looks like, her sister is a real blondie, her bother has brown hair..)

Maybe she sees little parts (tiny weenie) of her teenager self in T Swift since they both write about lost love and heartbreaks. One in a innocent, cute way, the other in a sexy, provocative way. They were talking about one of Lana's like: videos. They both worked with Woodkid and from what I understood, Swift is going to make her next video with the same person that had made Lana's video (I don't know which one she was talking about though).

I love her cheesy side too, it's entertaining I'm like "oh c'mon!" or "hum nice try.." every time she says those stuffs.

From what we know about her musical taste, I'd say that she likes none of them (she isn't fan). She said she was honored to be in the same category as Jack White, "an artist who is still making real music". Come on Lana you don't say that at the EMA!

Lana isn't listed as a performer nor as a presenter on the EMA website, I hope at least that she'll listed as a winner. What's the point otherwise?

When I'm tired and feeling low and just want to be in pj and watch tv (~while you're t-t-t-t-touching me~), seing my friends always put me on the right track mood wise. Now I just force myself to go out even if I don't want to because I know it's gonna be good for me. This might sound stupid but sleeping makes me also happy. Being in a warm bed with some music, a hot tea, a book or a porn movie is such a luxury.

I remember but I don't think they made that name up and told her to switch it. May Jailer, Sparkle Jump Rope Queen, Lizzy and the Phenomena + her countless other monikers on YT, myspace... Lana Del Rey is just an extension of her imagination to me, unless if she had lawyers following her since puberty.

That's basically what she said, she explained in interviews but I don't remember which one.

No that's BS. That's a theory people made before even asking her. She denied it and explained it was from an art project.

At the Q&A with ElleUK on twitter she said she didn't know if she will attend the show yet. I think she's waiting to know if she wins or not. LOL
