You followers... - When the word "queen" changes meaning, it refers more to "beauty queen" or "queen of the gas station" rather than the ruler of a country/state. - When you hear an average live performance but still think it's amaaaazing. - When you think that sticking the tongue out is cool and sexy rather than childish and impolite. - When you hear exotic car names and hum in order to remember if that's in any Lana songs. - When "electric" refers more to a mindset rather than electric energy.

First MD and Neal, you guys should change path and be detective instead or work for Most Wanted kind of shows. She likes rings - the blingest one, heart shape sunglasses, fur, floral everything, She dresses causually but have expensive taste in accessories. Not being a native english speaker, I emulate what I hear. If you put me in a texan household for 3 months I'll probably end up with an texan accent. Since I listen to a lot of Lana songs, interviews, I tend - unconsciously - to talk like her, I'm not trying to emulate her but I became soft spoken in english (beauty queen style...) I hate it! I used to talk fast and loud (like another of my pet celebrity). I'm also using a certain type of vocabulary now. Ugh she has such an impact on me, I didn't even noticed until now..

I agree, it's quiet obvious that her and her sister are close, they seem to share lots of thing together. I'm just saying that a picture can either reflect everything or nothing. I roll my eyes when people ask question such as "Who's your best friend?" or worse "Do you like your mom or dad better?" If you answer you can be sure you'll hurt someone's feeling. We only see pictures, they frame 3 seconds of your life, they don't mean anything especially if they're from the paparazzi. My friends went to Barcelona this summer, they took photos and made a video. All the people who saw them were like "OMG! You guys had so much fun!" - but it was in fact one of the worst trip they've ever made. I guess she really appreciate them because they did everything for Lana Del Rey to succeed. They're strangers, they didn't have to do what they did for her, so it's even more valuable. She believes in the kindness of strangers...

I love these! I just really like french songs from the 60's in general. They were carefree, playful, smart and catchy. La Boite à Sous isn't the most well known songs they did together. Idk why I thought it was Gainsbourg, some of her most successful songs has been written by him, and they had an affair together.. No connection, these two were just mythical. You're right it's not from the BB's Moi Je Joue, I think she wrote these lines in English then translate them in French by herself or via Google translate. Those lines are very Lana like lyrics, it also has some syntax mistakes "Toi et le soleil, pareil !" it's very simple french, native speaker will say that (unless you're 3 or learning french). On the other hand BB's lines may seem plain but are actually complex and smart play on words, most people wouldn't even know what it means. Serge Gainsbourg was a master in song writing.
