Lana makes beautiful covers, you can see where she gets her inspirations from. Yet she makes them so personal and add her signature on them. Some of her work just reminds me why I loved her at first place and why I'm a fan. Her voice, her personality, her tastes in music... It just touches me.

I love it, finally a "happy" carefree song. It gives me a strong Lizzy Grant vibe, maybe because of the lack of (drama) strings and the way she sings, in a higher pitched voice. Summer Wine

I was thinking about that as well. I wanted to be at the front but that mean i'll have to go and queue very early on, I don't see myself lining for hours... even for Lana. So now I'll just go and see whether I'll be lucky or not. Nice thing is the Olympia is a rather small venue, 2000-2500 people max depending on the setting. The real question is: Do I have to "dress up" for the occasion. I can def picture the entry of the venue filled with Lana styled fan. Just like at a Harry Potter or Star Wars event.

As for Lana, while doing her first interviews as LDR, I expected her to be all american because of her videos and her influences - she pleasantly surprised me when she said she felt like a citizen of the world rather than just american. She spent lots of time in the UK while working on BtD. NYC, Los Angeles, Paris, St Tropez, Monaco, London.. all these places inspired her at one point. Lana is more of an emotional person than a rational one so she'll probably go where she feels inspired, happy and loved and that place might be London.

I was hoping for a more upbeat album... can a pop album be even darker that BtD? Oh gosh... Looking forwards to hearing the album though.

Lana said she was working on a movie set in the 20's, she had meetings with Harvey Weinstein, the Great Gatsby is produced by the Weinstein cie and is set in the 20's. She has also said she wanted to focus on making music for films. Sorry to break the mood or your hope but the chances that she's recording a new album are paper thin, to me at least.

I don't really like Jaime, I don't dislike her either it's just that she does.. nothing. She was good in Sin City, I tried to watch the serie she's in but the show is as boring as folding my socks. As for Lana, it confirms that Lizzy Grant isn't very stylish, she has a style but she isn't stylish without her team. She's very pretty but dark hair doesn't fit her as much as the lighter colors. And last but not least, I noticed that each time she goes back to LA she messes up with her face. She is very expressive in Ride but on these pic it looks like the upper part of her face "froze". I'm glad she went though, we didn't have much news from her lately.

I love his Plus album. He is very much the male version of Taylor Swift but the songs are good, I've been listening to it non stop since last week. He's talented and I frigging love cheesy love songs. :yes:

I'm pretty sure she was considered for the latest Bond theme song but was put aside because of the controversy around her back then. I still think Million Dollar Man would have been perfect. Other than that, this interview is pretty generic, the questions have been asked dozen times before.

I haven't read anything in german since high school but Google translate is worse than my rusty German. I wish she uses Twitter and FB not only as promo tool but also as a way to communicate with her fans. Some stuffs I noticed : - she often asks the interviewer if they like her music. - mention her charity work - brag a little (occasionally) - mention her family and how important they are - Whitman & Nobokov - her inspirations - American not liking her - European liking her Please interviewers, ask her some new/exclusive questions!!
