This pre-release is only hard cus we're all crazy, Lana is doing nothing wrong this time. No fake dates, no snippets to spoil the album, and tons of exciting things coming soon. One could argue that the title track came too soon, but I loved having it over the holiday season. She also gave us a pre-order right away, so we weren't left wondering after the song came out when we would get the album. The two week delay is annoying but that for sure was not Lana's fault at all. I'm super desperate for the rollout to truly begin, but I know it's coming soon and we have lots to be excited for! NFR was the worst, we waited literally a full year and heard teases of most of the album in advance. The last month before release was super fun though!

I think Lana was just explaining the creation of the song, she recorded something on a whim on her voice notes and sent it over to Drew who added orchestra and they realized they had something special. I don't think she necessarily meant the final track was her voice notes. Even the short snippet sounds very polished to me.

The title The Grants is giving family saga, the ups and the downs. I think it's going to be an emotional rollercoaster of a track that opens up an emotional rollercoaster of an album

There's no way A&W won't be amazing. Say what you want about Jack but if he's hyping it as the best thing they've ever done together after some of the masterpieces they've created and it's 7 minutes long it's gotta be for a reason. We're in for a jawdropper

Omg I just listened to this album with no expectations, I've only heard one of her songs before, and wow I loved it!! Can't wait to listen again and take in the lyrics more, but the whole thing is a great vibe.

It's about this man who returns home after being missing for four years and reconnects with his young son, and the two go off on a journey to find the boy's mother who ran off. It's a real contemplative slow burn and so beautiful! I suspect we may be getting into some Patty issues on this song
