  1. Ethel is an amazing vocalist, I saw her live in the summer and my mind was genuinely blown by her voice. She puts on such a great show. She's also an incredible writer. I would recommend turning out the lights and really just committing the hour and a bit to listening to all of Preacher's Daughter in order and going on the full journey with her, it's a beautiful and thrilling ride. This performance is gorgeous:
  2. The universe told me that the closing track is called Del Norte County and it tells the story of Lana fifty years from now, living her final years in Northern California, no longer fearing what comes next or what happens after she's gone, but approaching the end of life from a place of complete peace.
  3. Fans Choose Lana Del Rey’s ‘Did You Know That There’s a Tunnel Under Ocean Blvd’ as This Week’s Favorite New Music Lana Del Rey's new song brought in 80% of the vote. https://www.billboard.com/music/music-news/lana-del-rey-did-you-know-that-theres-a-tunnel-under-ocean-blvd-best-new-music-1235184861/
  4. Exactly! I have had access to unreleased music through my work as well on occasion (not Lana, that will never happen sadly ) but I would never post anything online.
  5. I'm so curious what you will say if we listen to the album and hear psychedelic trip, half moon bay, for Jim I'll stay
  6. I would be such a bad insider tbh I would be too paranoid to share anything substantial
  7. In my dream last night she released an album trailer and the audio for the whole thing was the pastor's sermon, and it was all about doubting yourself and learning to trust your own strengths.
  8. I personally think DragonWhore is being truthful, they've been right about multiple things and have been consistent in how they described the album since the beginning. Fake insiders want way more attention than they do. Almost 80 minutes is so exciting
  9. Boz said it's her most confessional album and very vulnerable, I don't think it's just going to just be a singalong to celebrate her family and friends. If the title track is any indication, she's going to be getting into some heavy territory.
  10. For sure and I'm concerned too, I was not pleased to see his name on the cover, believe me I am very anti-religion lol but I also am curious to see what her intention is and I trust/hope that she has a reason for including it.
  11. Speculating on its significance on the record is not the same thing as defending it. We have no idea what it is yet so it's interesting to discuss different possibilities of what its purpose will be. I'm certainly not thrilled about the idea of a pastor's sermon, but I believe that Lana has a vision for the record and didn't throw it on to preach at us, because that is not her style at all.
  12. I actually think Tropico was quite critical of it. For me she was expressing how it was unfair for Eve to be condemned for taking a bite of the apple and that it wasn't her fault that the temptation was put in front of her. She even alludes to it again in Paradise is Very Fragile. She also tells us in I Talk To Jesus only to read the red, which are the words of Jesus. I think she's obviously religious and spiritual but I don't think she follows religion blindly and is aware of the negatives too.
  13. Maybe the interlude is the pastor's sermon intercut with Lana talking to him and asking questions but he just keeps going on with his sermon like he can't hear her at all
