Ultraviolence - Pre-Release Thread
greymillenium replied to lflflflflflflflflflf's topic in Retired Pre-Release Threads
yesssssssss!!!!! :come2: I can see a track called Ultraviolence leaking but doesn't have anything to do with the album since Lana has such strong motifs that run through her work. Like the Paradise track. -
I was hanging out with my friends last night when this made the news. We had a moment to mourn his loss. Then we had a huge discussion about his contributions to film because one of the boys asked what Paul Walker did with his life. Of course the social workers in the group immediately said that he was a son and a father and could have been a brother. I was thinking aloud and said there was an image of him wearing a varsity jacket in a supernatural film that I could not recall. Clearly he took a commercial route for his acting career, but he was a gorgeous surfer. We of course looked up his filmography and here are the projects that Paul was a part of that were meaningful to our group: Pleasantville Varsity Blues Brokedown Palace Flags of our Fathers The iconic, Fast and Furious franchise I didn't realize that he was 40 years old, I thought that he was in his early 30s.

the Supreme is supposed to display the 8 Wonders (Powers)

I just meant in the later seasons where she was sleeping with Connor, but she was great for the most part

Did you all ever watch Angel/Buffy? There was a character on that showed that developed clairvoyance + other powers. Her character turned into a bit of a mess at the end. I was sorta relieved when they let her die.
-
I think that Cordelia developed 2nd sight because her other sight vanished.

what is she whispering? "Dear John, forgive us our sins?" ok.... here for it in any case. LOLOLLOL

2nd episode in and we are granted with another sex scene! My prediction about Misty was right! I'm really trying to understand the lore of the witches and the differences they have from the voodoo practicioners, aside from skin color. It'll be interesting to see how that plays out with Queenie whose a black witch . The spells were cool I'm ready to see the voodoo side of things

or their duet on Iron

First off, I want to say that I am in need of more Angela Basset. I'm here for Professor Sprouts smoking that purple loud. I can see how powers are going to make anything possible in this season just like Horror House in S1 and the aliens in S2. Again I need more Angela Basset. I'm actually quite suprised by Emma Roberts being able to hold the screen with Jessica Lange. I can see Lilly using her power of resurgence to come back from the grave and if that happens then she's going to resurrect Kyle. I wonder if anymore witches are going to come to the school? Already sex is a theme of the show and related to that is power. It should be a fun show. I can tell the production value has raised, the scene in the greenhouse with the purple windowframes was taking me back to Suspria (a great movie about witches). I don't mind Zoe having the vagina fatale, but when they showed her jacking off that guy...I felt disturbed.

Callisto - League of Hope https://soundcloud.com/zirvin/league-of-hope Callisto is a local artist from Charlotte, NC. I got turned on to him when he played at the grunge bar. It's trance-y music perfect for yoga!

From the stream, I like her singles so far (Royals and Tennis Courts) and Buzzcut Season and Ribs and Team She reminds me of the XX in a lot of ways. Pure Heroine is what Ellie Goulding's Halcyon LP should have been if she stayed with her roots. ... electro-folk with layered harmonies and actually I see more musical similarites between those two (maybe it's the accent?) aside from the lower register that Lorde uses which is reminiscent of Lana of course. I listened to her Maida Vale sessions on BBC and wasn't really moved. She has a promising career if she rides the hype wave correctly.
