  1. Such an awful remix. Came on Sirius BPM the other day and I was super excited at first, but it sounds so lifeless and bland on the radio. I'm afraid it's going to make a lot of people think she's either just another generic artist, or a sellout. But simultaneously I want to see her have more success, so I'm torn.
  2. Never particularly liked the song with Lana. I think Diana will do it proper justice (and much better than Cheryl did to Ghetto Baby) so I'm excited.
  3. We finally get to see Charlie in a video! Only fair since Chuck has been in two.
  4. I'm so excited :excited: This is either gonna be really polished and flawless or it's gonna be tacky as hell and flawless.
  5. That's a Chevrolet Bel Air, 1950's era. So I can bet Bel Air is confirmed. Now it makes sense why they took down the promotional video.
  6. They leaked something literally anyone could get with a little work. Nothing special or credible about it. Let's hear a new snippet of JFK, Midnite Dancer Girlfriend, or something at least. Pathetic.
  7. Pam Cochrane does it, and has since the beginning of her career. I don't know exactly what happened and why she started getting a little careless with it lately though.
  8. It is gonna be literal summetime sadness when this goes nowhere and makes her music seem like even more of a joke to the few Americans who will actually hear it. Why not service out the radio mix? Or how about the Monseiur Adi mix? Either of them has more personality than the Cedric one. Plus it's gonna make it look like Lana is thirsty for radio play and made a shitty electro song for people who already know her but don't know the original song. Sad, sad, sadness indeed.
  9. I'm on 56 and I am trying not to go too crazy cause it's really addicting. I've never played a game like it that got me this hooked.
  10. Who knew when she sang that shitty-sounding snippet on that Mexican radio broadcast it would become this...I'm proud but this is def. not the song to promote. Dark Paradise or National Anthem would do much better on mainstream spins.
  11. I've never ever seen it registered or called Lolyta by any official source. She originally uploaded the video as Hey Lolita Hey, which is why people still call it that.
  12. Sales =/= Quality Gangnam Style and Call Me Maybe are the two biggest-selling singles of this century and I don't think anyone with eardrums would consider them quality. Had she kept the original versions of songs like Radio, Lolita, and Summertime Sadness, the album would have sold just as well or even better. Emile did great work on some pieces like Blue Jeans, National Anthem, and Born to Die, but having him re-do every song made the album repetitive and when you hear the Rick James sample every 8 bars and the auto-tuned loon every 32 for an hour straight, it becomes tiresome.
  13. When mine came it was in a flimsy little sleeve and it had been ripped open on the top so it was basically about to fall out. How it survived a trip all the way from the UK, through 2 customs offices, and through 5 post centers to get to me I'm not sure.
  14. I think she had them depuffed tbh. Plus the lipstick and liner help define them out a bit. I like them better these days.
  15. In my opinion, the video is quite possibly the most amazing thing she's put out besides Ride. The cinematography is perfect, her makeup and hair are spectacular, and the simplicity makes the song even more beautiful. It has variation in subtle ways that aren't flashy or overdone, and it makes it unique in comparison to any other video out right now. Plus, the homage to the beautiful orchestral video she used in Video Games is perfection. I feel like this video is actually the treatment that Lana wish she was able to give to Video Games. The orchestra, the simplicity, the glamour, and the noir feel would've all fit it perfectly, as they do this song.
  16. I'm posting my scans on my other Tumblr - http://presspics.tumblr.com/ I'm coloring them to match the original files as best I can and eventually I'm going to make a complete digital PDF version the entire tour Programme
  17. Just got mine in the mail! Scanning it right now, but the physical experience is absolutely amazing. The varied papers really fit the themes of each page.
  18. Ru chose the wrong winners the first two seasons but he got it right for the third time so I'm really happy! Jinkx is already an icon in her own right. It's hard to believe this show has been on for six seasons already. I can't wait for Season 6, I hope there's less drama. Season one was great cause it was so little drama and I hope the next group is peaceful, but I think we all know that won't be the case.
  19. Seems they've removed the programme from her store. Maybe they sold out? Glad I got mine in time!
  20. My personal favorite shade - I'd probably sacrifice a finger to have her go back to blonde in all honesty.
  21. I hope it gets here soon...I just need good scans already ugh...
  22. Bad Kid

    Michael Jackson

He's a true icon. I grew up with his music and I've come to cherish every song, album, and video of his as a masterpiece. My favorite song of his will always be Childhood, it's the most telling and raw thing I think he ever put out.
  23. I remember those days she would talk to us on Facebook like that way back when...
  24. Bought it...I don't know if I can wait a whole month to get it though
  25. I get a strong Barrie vibe. Between the cake line and the references to basically 2/3 of Paradise tracks.
