When has she ever acknowledged P4U. She played it once with A. G. He has since played it twice, maybe more. Also “Ponytail” has NOTHING to do with Charli. And “Up & Down” has always been Danny’s.

She played a crazy set with new A. G. x Charli x Bibi (right?) & Immaterial, etc. I wish I could've seen that other than a lip-synced live "debut" with less songs.

MNDR produced the demo (unleaked obv), and SOPHIE redid it with new production! MNDR posted about in on facebook.

Demo is Invisible Men. SOPHIE re-did it based around the a capella, like with Trophy.

yeah i think they get along professionally of course, but sophie keeps to herself i think. she seems pretty close with cecile (perhaps that's part of why cecile moved to LA recently? maybe too big an assumption) and Hayden Dunham (of QT), but i think she's made an effort to distance herself from a lot of her earlier collaborators. At her NYC show in February, Le1f was with me in the audience & it was kinda confusing why he was there at all. she might just be more aloof...Charli and Alma and Tove and A. G. and Caroline, etc., just seem to have a grand ole time partying together, but I think SOPHIE's a little more shy(?), maybe. Even when fans meet her, she seems kind but quiet & reserved. i think OOMH was last year, and they all wrote that together (??) in LA? Not sure. They probably bounce ideas back and forth still, especially with the two of them and A. G., but SOPHIE's definitely been busy getting her live show / new music in order. And SOPHIE's been touring a lot, too.

I wouldn't say that, have you heard A. G.'s solo stuff? He's capable of writing great pop songs, but his stuff can be a lot more creative. I think he and SOPHIE are very complementary, because their stuff together (like "Hey QT" and "Out Of My Head") is some of both of their best work imo.

Agreed, kinda? I'd really like to hear updated versions of some of them, like Come to My Party. Good Girls should be on it regardless, honestly. I'm wondering what kind of Cass Lowe stuff she'll churn out next, though. If A. G. is still around as her creative director, maybe it will be some stuff that he co-writes. Also interesting that she emphasized going solo instead of leaving it vague. Makes it sound a little more album-y to me.

Uhhh...ATAP came months before (most of) N1A was even recorded. It was decently well-received. It's literally produced by Stargate and SOPHIE, it's the closest thing we ever got to the original album draft. I guess it wouldn't fit that well on either mixtape, but people shit on it un-necessarily...it's Stargate Charli at her best. I mean, yeah, the video didn't go viral like "Boys" did, but most of my friends still know that song & it caught a bit of buzz.

She goes by Cecile Believe, and she’s on Ponyboy & Faceshopping. SOPHIE’s vocals are on both tracks too, I believe, just heavily processed. The two of them are probably splitting the album vocals.

I mean, it’s a lot older than every other song on the mixtape, which is why A. G. said it sounded more like “old Charli.” She just sent them the acapella & A. G. & easyfun totally reconstructed it. Not sure if it was a Sucker outtake or from the Boom Clap sessions in 2012.
